First time at this bar—I’d heard a lot about it from my coworkers, and they finally convinced me to go. It’s definitely out of my way from home, but the drinks alone made it 100% worth it.
This was my first time at a true hole-in-the-wall bar that actually makes good drinks. I’m usually the one complaining when bars serve weak or crappy drinks and then give attitude when you mention it—but absolutely no complaints here. I actually had to set a limit on myself because I still had a drive home!
The waitress was extremely friendly, and on my way out the cook acknowledged me, thanked me for coming in, and wished me a good night. The waitress also said good night and wished me a Merry Christmas.
Will definitely be back!

Been a local most of my life, where Murphys burgers were a great Friday night dinner. I guess thats gone now. I sat at a table for 45 mins only receiving a single drink. When asked if I wanted a menu and I replied no (as in i knew what I wanted) the waitress turned away and never came back until she saw i was ready to pay. I went across the street to willams cafe and got service just fine.

Heading North and got thirsty! Stopped in Barryton Michigan for a quick 🍺 at this local pub. Cozy and friendly. Did not eat but looks like a fun spot to hang out.

Great local dive bar. Really for the locals. We like it and go often.
We hit the road with our SxS early Sunday morning with no destination in mind. Got to Murphy's and glad they were open at 1030am. The staff was super kind and helpful, the interior very clean & nice and the food was delicious. We both chose hamburgers and fried pickles as an appetizer. What a great surprise the whole experience was. We will be back!

Food is always good and you can also order pizzas, subs, and calzones from their pizzeria. Their onion rings, tater tots and fried mushrooms are also good! Nice quiet bar.
