Continental Pastries & Deli

So expensive and we ended up just throwing it out. Every year for each of our birthdays we always treat ourselves to a birthday cake and various goodies from continental. This time was absolutely awful, didnt taste the same as in years past. The $40 some dollar cake we ended up throwing out it was so bad. The little treats and cookies were tossed as well. I said i could make a Betty Crocker cake and it would be better. Sam’s club cakes are WAY better. When I asked around I was told it was because it had come under new ownership and they just have changed everything. Needless to say, after 50 years, the continental tradition of birthdays and wedding cakes has come to an end for our family.

Very disappointed, I ordered a cake for my friends birthday today and I told them on the phone twice that I wanted a yellow cake with chocolate frosting and it was a chocolate cake :( the presentation was good though, just disappointed.

We used Continental for our Wedding cake and it turned out amazing. I am so thrilled with how the cake turned out and how delicious it was!

I went inside 6/2/2025 around 4 ish to talk to someone about a wedding cake tasting information, I was sent to Ronnie ( I hope I have the spelling correct ) and spoke to her about this matter and asked her to contact my finance Tuesday as she wasn't with me and was home not feeling well. Well fast forward today 6/8/2025 630 pm we have not heard anything from Ronnie or this place, very poor way to run a business and the communication was zero. Apparently they don't want our business and we have made the decision to look elsewhere because of this. This is unacceptable, we will not give this business any future business from here on out.

Best carrot cake I have ever had!!

We would occasionally get cakes and cookies here, which were always great. Recently Continental Bakery made my wedding cake and it was beautiful! It also tasted amazing. They were very helpful through the whole process of ordering and delivering the cake to the venue.

We love Continental Bakery and all their delicious offerings! Whenever my family visits from California, it’s one of the first places they want to go. Big thanks to the staff for their wonderful service and patience, whether we’re ordering over the phone or in person, you all are always so kind and helpful. I totally understand that dairy-free options aren’t currently part of the menu, but I do wish there was even just one reliable dairy-free treat, it would mean a lot for families like ours to be able to enjoy something together.

They have a decent selection and the food is amazing. But, do not forget to pick up an order if you placed it over the phone or they will be very rude to you in the store about it in front of anyone and everyone, regardless as to whether or not you can pay or are willing to back pay.

We ordered a formal cake from continental for a Quincianera. Velvet and vanilla with buttercream. Absolutely delicious and so moist! A cup of milk would pair perfect 😁. On time delivery, good communication, the cake turned out very nice. We provided the flowers, butterfly’s and cake topper and they executed it great. I’ll post the inspiration vs what we got. Great place to order from for formal events. Higher up on the price range.

The chocolate chip cookies have me in a choke hold. Love this place!

The most beautiful cake I've ever laid eyes on exactly what we wanted reasonably priced and absolutely delicious.I've never had a cake that tastes as good as continental cakes.!!
