Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Had to ask for silverware. Floor around table was dirty. Food was luke warm-at best. Had to ask for biscuits and corn bread.

This place was amazing ten years ago. I’ve been there twice in last two years and I’ll never go back. Service was horrible, food was average if you like cold eggs.

This was our worst experience at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 children. We waited almost an hour for our food and we finally asked to speak to the manager. After another long wait he came to the table and we explained our frustration. He acted like we were an annoyance but did check on our order and came back and said it would be a few more minutes. He didn't offer any apology or explanation for why it took so long. We were frustrated seeing tables that came in after us being served and finishing their dinners while we continued to wait. When our food was finally served some of the dinners obviously had been sitting for awhile and were cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen to be warned up. Our waitress did the best she could but we could tell she was as frustrated as us. The manager never came back to check on us or offer a discount or some complimentary drinks or dessert. Some of our party including myself are former restaurant employees and understand the industry. This was the first time I have ever asked to speak to a manager and the first time my wife and I have felt a need to make a complaint.

Worst visit ever. They’ve been on a decline for sometime now but this was bad tonight. One hour since we sat down and still do not have our dinner. Dining room was maybe half full and they were out of clean silverware??? Server took my daughters order and asked if her strawberry French toast cake came with anything else. What? Seriously gave to consider not dining here any longer.

My sons steak was overcooked, my pancakes were overcooked, had a burnt taste. I ordered bacon crispy and it came out rubbery. I think they mixed up what I wanted Crispy...not my pancakes, but my bacon!! My husband's mashed potatoes were gross too. Only 2 good meals out of 5, therefore, 2 stars on food. The waitress was great, she was on top of drink service and was polite.

I love Cracker barrel if your looking for great food with exceptional service pay them a visit. Latrece was wonderful she came around and chatted with us while we dinned making you feel very welcomed.

Quality of food and customer service is outstanding. Love going there.

Parking: Battle Creek Michigan Cracker Barrel. Has parking available for big rigs, also. Plenty of room for parking. Area is always clean and neat as is the store.

The day we were there it was FREEZING in the restaurant. When our food arrived it became cold very quickly also.
The menu choices when I requested dark meat chicken were very disappointing! I was told only white meat chicken breasts are used.
The waitress we had didn’t even stop by to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything. We even waited a long while to get our check and finally had to go find someone to get it for us.
At the checkout register the person was very overbearing and obnoxious.
I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

I recently visited Cracker Barrel and had an exceptional dining experience thanks to my outstanding server, Bridgette. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure my needs were met throughout our meal. The food was delicious, but Bridgette’s top-notch service truly made our visit stand out.
