Finley's Grill & Smokehouse

Got my drinks wrong to start and then once we finally received the food they got it it wrong not once not twice but 3 times and on top of that we’re extremely slow and showed no compensation for the wait and poor service over 150$ for such a poor meal i definitely will not be back until this is made right.

We used Finley’s catering for our wedding in September and I cannot recommend them enough. Ben was so accommodating and easy to work with. The day of everyone working was so pleasant and helpful. The food was incredible. We received SO many compliments on the food. We live in Traverse City but had our wedding downstate, we will definitely be making a stop at their restaurant next time we’re in town!! If you were considering using them for an event or stopping in to eat at their restaurant, here is your sign to do so!

This is the only Finley's left in our area now. We drive an extra 35 minutes just to eat here, everything, especially the ribs, are delicious.

I had finleys cater my son's rehearsal dinner this past weekend. Food was delicious and hot!! Ben was extraordinary in his service and how timely he would always get back to me via email, phone or text message. I would highly recommend!! A lot of bang for your buck!!! Thank you Ben for making our experience so wonderful!!

I was given the wrong order, and I had already left and gotten to my destination before realizing. I was very upset and I could not turn back around to go get it as I did not have the time. I called the restaurant and the girl at the front was very apologetic and friendly. I was transferred to the manager, and he was also very nice. He fixed the issue completely for me and made sure that I received my correct order. They went above and beyond and I very much appreciate that. The food was delicious and I would recommend. Thank you!

Used to be a lot better. It has gone consistently downhill for a long time. Food isn't as good as it used to be. Service is very rude usually and half the time I get a beer. It's very very watered down for some reason. It's also very annoying having to switch beers until you find one that isn't out at the keg

We used to LOVE Finleys, and haven’t been in quite some time so we visited this past Wednesday evening for a birthday and probably will never be back again. The service was so incredibly slow, and it wasn’t because the restaurant was busy- it wasn’t even half full, and there were plenty of staff walking around. We didn’t get our drink order taken for nearly 10 minutes, and it took about the same amount of time to actually receive our drinks after that. There was no bartender there per our waiter, and I could tell that whichever staff member made the drink didn’t know what to do- the strawberry daiquiri tasted like water with whipped cream. Ordered a kids steak cooked medium and it was more than well done, and my boyfriends birthday steak was also severely over cooked. The tomato’s on our salad were past expiration, but the French onion soup was good so I guess that cancels out all the other negatives, but definitely not worth the $75 dollar bill pre-tip for us to dine out.
