I don’t like my husband got a oxtail dinner all he got was rice and bones and I got a catfish dinner the size was in little sauce cups the food didn’t have no flavor at all I’m done probably won’t go back

We didnt get the 4 sauces i ordered. But honestly the food was soooo good anyway. We will be back for catfish and those beans!

First time visiting. The food Angela cooked was amazing - fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. DeMarcus' customer service was top-notch. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. This was truly an exceptional experience. We will definitely be coming back!

I ate here for the first time today and it was fire!
I ordered the fried chicken breast, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and fried okra. It was all cooked fresh and seasoned well. The service was exceptional and I rate them five stars!!!!

We had never been here to eat previously but looked up the reviews and they didn’t let us down. The food is exceptional. Our four year old had the kids catfish meal and she loved it. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We stopped here for a late lunch during a road trip and every single person in our group was blown away. I got the Brisket Burger (The General) and wow it was heavenly. The brisket was so tender and juicy it practically melted in your mouth. Finger-licking good doesn’t even begin to describe it. Highly recommend this place

The food here is nothing short of amazing. My wife and I had the catfish dinner popcorn shrimp dinner, with collards, fried okra, and Mac and cheese for sides. All were fresh and perfectly cooked. I appreciated the fact that the fried okra had a light, crispy batter, while the catfish was cornmeal crusted. Many/most places they would have shared the same coating mixture, meaning the okra would have been too heavy or the catfish too light. Everything came out hot and crisp (except the Mac and cheese, of course, which was rich and creamy!) Collards were delicious and almost velvety in texture. The dining room is fairly spartan, but clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area! This is well worth the 5 minute detour if you’re passing by Battle Creek on 94!

This place is a gem. Have yet to order anything that wasn't delicious, the service is great, and they are very kid-friendly. Give this place your business, it deserves it! And order the jalapeno poppers...yum.

The service was amazing as well as the atmosphere. The brisket and catfish was great! The only complaint I had was the mac and cheese didn't seem homemade. It wasn't cheesy at all.

Ordered a cheeseburger with everything. They were timely. I didn’t know it came with fries so that was a nice surprise. Very juicy and flavorful. Hot and FRESH! from the veggies to the fresh cut fries. Thanks for lunch guys!!! I WILL be down again to grab another one!

They were amazing best burger I've had in a long time!! The egg was perfect with yoke still running and hash brown crispy with the flavor packed patties it was off the chain!!
