This place doesn't care or have enough empathy for the homeless, disabled poor or recovering adults I was barred for 30 days for being on the property 25 mins before 7am. I never knew that was a rule. Me and another person came and sat on the bench at the same time except I was the only one barred. They said I was sleeping. It was early in the morning and Ihad know where else to go. I'm on physic meds which makes me extremely tired I never got a warning. I never signed any rules. And never saw any rules that states I couldn't be on the property before 7am. This place is ran by ex addicts. To which I agree with to empower recovery. But that doesn't mean higher anyone. There's no professionalism and people are treated like trash. Che Battle Creek has no other rese sandwich for lunch, a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Now Margaret the manager only seem to higher people that are in her family friend circle I am a certified chef. I often asked her for job. And it's always no. Yet she higher a few people from the shelter recently who happens to be friends and buddies with the rest of the staff. Talk about politics Battle Creek has no other resources. So I haven't had a shower in weeks and meals are far in between. Shut this place down it's hurting the real homeless and disabled

They are incrediblely helpful, with all forms of addiction services, as well as mental health and homelessness. They work hard to help all who is trying to better themselves.

Where else is there for the homeless and needy? It won't be there much longer I suppose. It'd be great if there were more involvement required, however, as I feel the needs are not always recognized. But the Share Center is there to keep warm.

I did a walk through. I was there a long time ago, and, I could see the changes and I was very pleased. I have a lot of experience. I did security at Denso, first in the front doing tours, then in the back at the gate checking, in trucks. I've had two licensed day cares, I legally started working with a work permit, it was chicken coop, and, then@15, I worked @mosses a and w on Columbia Ave,. From there I was still in school and went to the vocational center and took food service, so, my teacher got me a job @ Kelloggs, I was a cashier. From there I went Interbake, did Quality control, they had contracts with Kelloggs, girl scouts and dairy queen. I worked there 6 years. I will be donating gloves and hats for those that need them.

The food is free to everyone that is apart of the community and currently homeless. The service is alright, some staff need to work on handling certain situations multiple different ways that can eventually benefit them in the end. The atmosphere of the place is not good. People are more focused on drama and gossip about other people instead of focusing on their selves and getting back on their feet.
