I did a walk through. I was there a long time ago, and, I could see the changes and I was very pleased. I have a lot of experience. I did security at Denso, first in the front doing tours, then in the back at the gate checking, in trucks. I've had two licensed day cares, I legally started working with a work permit, it was chicken coop, and, then@15, I worked @mosses a and w on Columbia Ave,. From there I was still in school and went to the vocational center and took food service, so, my teacher got me a job @ Kelloggs, I was a cashier. From there I went Interbake, did Quality control, they had contracts with Kelloggs, girl scouts and dairy queen. I worked there 6 years. I will be donating gloves and hats for those that need them.

The food is free to everyone that is apart of the community and currently homeless. The service is alright, some staff need to work on handling certain situations multiple different ways that can eventually benefit them in the end. The atmosphere of the place is not good. People are more focused on drama and gossip about other people instead of focusing on their selves and getting back on their feet.

They claim to be a mental health facility but they're not. While they do some basic things to help the homeless, it's not a safe place to be. There is a ton of drama that will leave you feeling worse than when you walked in. You can eat for free there, but lunch is bologna sandwiches, so consider Salvation Army for lunch. They allow the neglect and abuse of the elderly and animals on their property and judge clients who aren't breaking laws. Reached out to the board and was ignored by them, as well. They don't have as many hands-on services and meetings as they claim in their TV interviews. They are quick to push away people who are really trying to better the community because they do NOT like the spotlight shined on them. They play favorites with clients. They also don't really have anybody to answer to, which is a financial concern regarding all the grant money they're getting that hasn't been put to the use it was designated for (lockers and showers they said they were putting in months ago with grant money that has not happened, they're lucky if the toilets flush right), clients complaining they believe a financial audit is needed and no one to ask for directions. Bathrooms go days without soap and toilet paper. Clients are promised jobs and then told they don't qualify only to be used as a volunteer to clean their site. The operations manager has a bad habit of ignoring clients when she's having conversations because anything she is doing is more important than a client's needs (her computer games, her cell phone). I have witnessed her sighing loudly and not giving any kind of eye contact during conversations, with numerous clients. And, she loves to vape in her office, as well. I thought that was illegal, same as cigarettes? This place needs to be redressed at the top. This place needs a financial audit to make sure all the money and food donated is actually ALL going to the Share Center. Clients and former employees with intel TALK. And, the operations manager does what she wants and the CEO plays d*** and acts like he knows nothing when you try and address the issue. Show up later for a resolution meeting that the "CEO" scheduled, only to arrive and find out he forgot about it. That's the level of value they treat the clients with. I understand some people need a place like this. But, the community needs better than this.

We serve at the share center once per month. Our church provides the foods on this day. Other church's provide on the other day's. Thank you Lord Jesus for this.
