My wife and I looked at Barneys on the internet and boy were we happy to take a chance on a neighborhood bar in Bay City. The food was amazing and the Bartender, Nathan, was top notch in service and conversation. 16 beers on tap and a great selection of sports too. Looking for great food, check this place out. Best burger we had in a long time. Onion rings to die for...batter was light and not heavy!

I wanted a juicy burger and I saw a FB post about the burgers here. We had the bourbon burger and the build your burger and french onion soup. Everything was excellent. The service was excellent too, with Heather serving us. The atmosphere was nice too. Going back soon.

Barney’s is the best place in town! We travel from Florida every year and always try to grab a bite whenever we can. We wish we could take Barney’s home with us, but I guess we’ll just keep traveling instead. We also have family in Bay City who are frequent diners.
I can’t pick a favorite meal, but you make one incredible Bloody Mary, and I’m now completely spoiled by the Side Car—honestly, every Bloody Mary should be served this way! Well done!
And a special thank you for always taking such wonderful care of our Uncle, who recently passed away. If we didn’t already need an excuse to visit Barney’s, we will definitely be coming back in memory of a great man who loved sitting at your bar enjoying a cold beer! Na zdrowie!

My husband and I were in town yesterday and decided to give you a try since we are fans of Richard Eats & Bre. I couldn’t get over how large the portions were, I had the French dip with rustic fries and my husband had the teriyaki rice bowl. We enjoyed our meals and wish I would’ve been able to take my leftovers home but I wouldn’t have had a way to keep it cold since I had more running around to do. Our server was very nice and attentive as well, we will be back at some point.
I've lived here my whole life and didn't have a bite to eat here until thirty-six years of age. I gotta say, Missed out. Dana was absolutely fantastic, brought a lot of south end love to our table. When we ordered food, we were blown away by the quality and portion sizes. The fries are massive and look fresh cut, fried to perfection! Everything else is amazing. Right on key, Barney's!! Thank you so much!
