I came here because I was craving Chinese food and I just happened to be downtown in Bay City so I came here I ordered from the window for my husband and I a varied amount of different flavors and so we ended up getting the chicken mushroom, then the Kung Pao chicken without peanuts, in general Tao's chicken I like spicy food my husband does not so he got the mushroom chicken and I got the other two The Kung Pao chicken I had never had before and I loved it and the servings were so huge that I'm still eating my serving today the second day and I still have some leftover for tomorrow so it gives you plenty of food for almost 3 days just fantastic and then I just have it for different meals like sometimes breakfast right now it's lunch tomorrow it'll be dinner again so it's just wonderful so everything I had was delicious and I really like the general Taos chicken it was the sauce was just so divine and it was so nice on the fried rice that I got. I also got an egg roll and a spring roll. My husband got the ham fried rice He really enjoyed that. All in all a very good experience and when I'm craving Chinese food again I will definitely come here. It's easy to get to an easy to get out of town too so it's just a really great great place.

Best in town hands down! I go for the fried chicken anything! General tsau is so fire! And the crab cheese is perfect. Exactly what ya want from your cheap Chinese fast lunch. Very reasonable prices. Always try to tip on top cause they deserve it! Thanks guys!
Vegetarian options: Best tofu in town. It's crunchy if you like it actually crunchy. I'm a meat Eater and order it from here special cause it's so fire ?

My first time trying this place and I was very excited. I should have had him print me a receipt, but I declined. I ordered fried wontons, Crab Rangoon and spicy sour soup.. The soup was yummy. I got empty fried wonton wrappers with maybe what might be a suggestion of something inside.. which did not taste like crabmeat or cheese (and it looked brown?).... (See attached video). I am VERY disappointed... This establishment should be embarrassed to disservice their customer in this way.

This used to be the best Chinese takeout in all of Bay City. I am not sure what happened. The last 3 times that I have ordered take out, it has been absolutely disgusting. No flavor, over cooked, and just plain gross. The first time I ordered Pad Thai. DRY DRY DRY. I order it a second time with extra sauce… again not even an ounce of sauce or flavor. Today I ordered orange chicken. Can’t mess that up right? Yuck again. No sauce! Just over cooked, breaded chicken in a grease bath. Unfortunately, I will no longer recommend this place to anyone and will have to try a different place. I am very sad because I ranted and raved about Chan’s garden to people for years.
I never leave reviews for people I know, But Brandon has made an off the menu dish for me for year's, and it's always great but today it was the best it's ever been.Thank youMurph
