Had a terrible experience, unprofessional host staff, went on a Friday night not only was it empty but there was no wait staff around anywhere. Buffet food was cold and underprepared, overall not worth it for how much it costs.

Excellent food for our party of 4. A little disappointed that service from the skewered meat selections is only on weekends. Service was very attentive. We will be back for special occasions.

A lot of the meats were overly salty and pretty bland during their churrasco dining experience. Wish there was an option to have the full al a carte menu on the weekends instead. Waiter wasn't very knowledgeable about the wine. The buffet portion was better in our opinion, but we didn't really pay $50 per person for a salad bar/buffet line. The restaurant had a nice interior. Overall I would only go back for the a la carte menu.

Good food, but if you have been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, this one is different. I liked the buffet items. As for the endless meat...this wasn't an option. You do not get a card to turn over when you are finished. Instead they bring out 13 different bite size meat choices, one after the other. Once all 13 have been served the server asks if you would like another bite of a specific meat. They bring out one bite of that meat and then ask you again if there is another meat you would like. Our server didn't ask if we wanted dessert.

The full experience was AMAZING!!! Make sure you come hungry and don't fill up on the buffet before the meats start!

The food was excellent and was brought out in small bites, which was good for my husband and myself since we filled up fast. The salad bar contained unique items and that along with the hot bar would have been plenty. We wanted the full experience though which included caipirinhas. We will be back!

Costela Brazilian Steak House is so much more than a meal. With all sorts of extraordinary flavors and the endless meat rolling out, it was an experience that will mark this fathers day as a family favorite. We were stuffed with great food and remarkable service.

NOT A TRUE CHURRASCARÍA (read for details)Our family loves Brazilian Steakhouse cuisine, we’ve been to many of these restaurants across the U.S. Costela has the look of a legit Brazilian Steakhouse, ambiance is great and service is above average. Where Costela departs from it’s traditional counterparts is it’s offering of a “Churrasco Experience,” which unfortunately results in only a brief glimpse of a true Churrasco experience. A lineup of tasty meats are brought to the table in quick succession, however you don’t have the option to continue eating meats as long as you desire. Once the meat lineup is done, that’s it. We were asked if we had any requests for additional meat, I requested the picanha and was brought a tiny sliver of meat on a small plate. How disappointing! This would be an excellent way to introduce someone to a churrascaría, however NOT for $50/person. For this price, I expect to be offered delicious meats until I feel like I will explode. The value just isn’t there, unlike other Brazilian Steakhouses. In addition to the disappointing format, the salad bar was not good. Mediocre cheese and charcuterie meat options, all the side salads (potato, brócoli, pasta) were hardly edible. The cardinal sin was not having pan de queso available at the salad bar, they do bring some out to the table but it’s not enough.All-in-all, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Costela isn’t even in the same Universe as Texas De Brazil in Ann Arbor and Detroit. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Amazing value and delicious food!

Excellent food & service but too expensive, since you can not take any food home with you. Also the charge for using a card was exorbitant. Bad decision by the owners to let one party keep other patrons from being able to take the food they paid for home with them.

All in all, not a completely awful experience. The meat was overall good aside from the chicken, which was a little dry, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The service was not great at first, we wouldn't even be seated while we were waiting on our last guest, and they could have done a better job with explaining the process for how things work there. Once we were seated, service was okay, but a bit stop and go as we waited on our meats to be cooked. The meats were mostly great. The side bar was decent. The service gets a ding in rating as there was a lack of explanation for making us wait to be seated for service, and after paying for our meal we were rushed out by the bussing staff. Not bad, not great. Probably would recommend, but they also need a better manager.

I'll be honest, the food would be rated a 5 star if it wasn't for the hour wait for food that really isn't hard to cook. Not to mention within the hour wait we never got our soup or salad, but we're charged for them on top of an extra salad... if it were busy, sure accidents happen, people get held up, whatever that's understandable. But with 4 tables being occupied which none were large parties.... come on...even paying and being able to tip properly was a task. For a business that advertise a discount for 3.5% off for cash, we were told that they didn't have change for a 20, and then just stares at us awkwardly to see if we were just going to give them the $20 for a tip.

My fiancee made a reservation. We got there 20 minutes early. They seat us at the bar and tell us that they don't want to overwhelm the server and they will move us to a table in a bit. There were 4 tables with people then us. So not sure how they were so overwhelmed. Both of us order steak dinners. He got soup with his, and I a salad. We then wait 50 minutes for our rare and medium rare steak, they forgot to even bring us the salads and soup. We then got our steaks and had to wait for silverware to try it. Then we get our bill and they charged us for 2 salads, and the soup plus we were paying in cash so I was excited to see they offer a 3.5% discount for cash. Our bill was approx $74, after they removed the items we never got. The waitress brings back a $20, and $7 in misc bills. So I ask her to break the $20 so I can tip her $17 which 20% was like $13.She tells me she doesn't have change to give me and then awkwardly stares at me when I ask her, if she has any tips she could give me change for so I can tip her $17. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had and every part was painful when it was supposed to be a relaxing date night. I would only recommend this place for takeout, and hopefully you order an hour ahead of time because if they have 3 orders before you, then the wait time will be an hour.
