Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We took my brother-in-law, who has problems with dementia, and he kept asking the waitress about their bacon -- she was incredibly patient, and understanding -- she did her best to explain that there was only one kind of bacon (he kept asking if it was thick sliced, like he remembered they used to), and she did her best to let him know that the bacon was 'regular' bacon. I truly appreciate her efforts to answer his repeated questions, and still be friendly!

I have had the pleasure of dining at this location before but not sure what happened at this visit. The food other than 2 eggs cooked sunny side up was cold. The gravy had already had a film on it as it gets when it cools down. One soft drink was awful, it had no fizz to it. Unfortunately our server or for that matter any server was not around to bring this to their attention. She did show up with the bill of course and at that time we were just ready to leave. We had picked through our meal and didn’t have the time to take care of the situation any further. As I stated earlier we have ate here before and did not experience anything like this. The food was very good during previous visits.

When I travel and don't know where to eat, I can always depend on Cracker Barrel for a good home cooked meal.

Our waiter was one of the best we Have ever had. I regret I did not get his name but awesome. The food I had to send back as it was not warm. It was the new chicken mushroom

I think we went at a busy time or something because it was a little chaotic. Not too bad, but our server went missing for a little too long at one point. We did discover you can pay the bill on your phone, so that was a surprise!

We had a good experience this time at the bridgeport cracker barrel..the chicken fried chicken w pinto beans and mashed potatoes was spot on..the wife had same but w fries and baby carrots and said it was delicious...servicecwas good as well as the fireplace was appreciated as it was February and cold out..Jaden was an excellent server very attentive...we will be back!

This is one of the best run Cracker Barrel restaurants. Not surprised that it is a training site for other locations. Excellent staff, some of whom have been there for years.

Normally, we have outstanding food and service at cracker barrel. Not this time, average food, horrible service. Lady at checkout was rude.

Was told the biscuits would be out when they were done. When we got them the butter didn’t even melt.food was slightly warm to the touch. Bacon was so over done it broke when I picked it up to eat it. Server didn’t come back to check on us until we were ready for the bill.

Some of the dumplings were in big clumps. Workers were complaining about other workers and the job they were doing. Our waitress was great.

My food is usually really good but my dumplings were sticking to the roof of my mouth and teeth (they were raw). The hash brown casserole was cold and hard.
