Used to come here in my high school years because the Steak Sandwich was what they were famous for. They had the best some 50 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit. Still the best. Really reasonable prices in today's market. $9.50 for a sandwich that you would have a tough time finishing due to size. Aaniyah was our waitress. Very polite young lady. Coldest beer in town & that's very reasonably priced too. Great off street parking area too. Highly recommend.
We ordered off of the "specials" board. Double sausage lasagna & the Grampa's trio- (rigatoni, orig. Lasagna, ravioli)
The food was very good. The lasagna was smothered in sauce & cheese. Yum! The ravioli in the captain's trio was not cooked all the way, but other than that a pretty good dish. Very cute, family-and-small town feel. They carry some hard to find pop brands & Fresh Italian bread, and more.
