Adorable cafe with excellent coffee and homemade syrups. They make real cappuccinos and cortados and their food was delicious! Their toasts were especially good, with amazing and thick homemade bread! Great spot for brunch or an afternoon pick me up!

Stopped in at this place while visiting downtown Bay City. The coffee was very good, and was the perfect balance. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is quite calm and peaceful. I recommend this place if you are in Bay City, and I will be visiting this place on a more often basis, highly recommend if you love coffee shops.

We stop here on our way home from northern Michigan and love it! The coffee is high quality. I got a cortado for here and it was served in such a cool mug. The toast and pastries they serve are delicious. If you’re stopping in Bay City, stop here then hit the antique store around the corner.

Good espresso drinks (the macchiato and cortado are my favorites), great service, comfortable seating areas. It was a beautiful day, so we sat in the back porch area. The cherry scone was great and the smoked salmon sandwich was excellent! While the decaf espresso shots weren't quite dialed-in, I'd definitely visit again and would recommend Harless + Hugh Coffee.

I’ve been slipping into this place most mornings before work and… yeah, it’s basically therapy with espresso.
Rustic wood floors, soft leather chairs, and the kind of lighting that makes your soul exhale. Add in the smell of fresh coffee and the sound of chill music — it’s the adult version of a security blanket.
Every corner feels curated but lived-in. Like a Pinterest board that grew up and stopped trying too hard.
The staff? Chill and kind. The drinks? Always on point. And outside? String lights and wood fencing like you’re about to get proposed to by a guy in a denim jacket.
If you need a spot to breathe, read, think, or just escape Michigan chaos for 20 minutes — this is it.

i used to come here all the time and i decided to come back after a couple years to try it out again, as i used to love it here! upon arrival, the cheery greetings that once was, was almost nonexistent. i love the atmosphere and the indoor/outdoor seating options, i fear that’s the only saving grace of this review, however. we received our iced lattes within 5 minutes and to be honest, this “coffee” didn’t taste like coffee. the quality has been lost on this place and i don’t think they care to train the baristas on how to pull a proper shot anymore. $15 on 2 lattes that tasted bitter, burnt, and watered down. never again.
