Real Seafood Company Bay City

Went there tonight. The hostess was missing, we waited about 5-7 minutes, the waitress seated us. She took our drink order. The bartender was missing so that took about 10 minutes to get a drink. The place was not busy. The food was very very good, except for the SheCrab soup, but I am from Charleston, SC, it was more like corn chowder. The service was not great we were out of water and drinks…we got our food and never were check backed on. I am a server and gave a 30 percent tip. No thank you or anything from the server. Food was great though.

There are not a lot of places in the Tri-Cities like this. If you're looking for coastal seafood this is really your best option in the area. The interior is well decorated and the seating along the water is nice. I consider this to be a nice place to take your family.

The experience dining here was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere was also nice, just a little loud for us, although it was a Friday night, so I understand being a busy night, it is going to be louder than normal. But I look forward to going back and trying more entrees!

Always is usually good and never have been disappointed up until today. I'm leaving a review because I don't know our servers name, but our visit/service from our waitress was very poor. She was an older blonde woman. She would leave for 15 minutes at a time and was more focused on talking to her boss/male coworker than taking care of us.She didn't have the specials ready, said she would be right back. She did tell us about the crab Rangoon dip which came out cold because it probably sat too long. She said they usually package food but they didn't have gloves available at her station. Bottom line, she seemed very inconvenienced by us being there. We were one of 3 tables that were there.

I don't drink and it's very pushy with drinks. They have a huge variety so if you like that and seafood this place is amazing for you

My wife and I decided to celebrate our birthdays and her recovery from cancer, so we went for dinner to Bay City's Real Seafood. The food was exceptional (shrimp fettuccini for my wife, jambalaya for me), but we were especially taken with the friendliness of Amanda, the manager, and another waitress whose name I regret I have forgotten. They treated us like old friends, and shared something of their lives with us, too, which we found moving and genuine. A very special night out.

Went to The Real Seafood Co. with my friends this weekend. Great food, great service, and a great value. Not one complaint during the whole experience- which is almost unheard of for a group this size. We will return again. Our server was amazing.

Beautiful patio on the river. Excellent food, drinks and service.

Let me just start by saying the food here is excellent and I would reorder any of the dishes we had. That said, the reason I would return again without hesitation is because the unparalleled service we received during our visit. Without going into too many details let’s just say we were traveling with very demanding, stubborn elderly folks. Our waitress did nothing but smile and accommodate them through it all and apologized for things that were out of her control. I don’t know how she maintained her composure and patience but she deserved a big raise or an Employee of the Week recognition of some sort!
