My husband and I came to the Retro Rocks for sweetest day. This was our first time here and it DID NOT disappoint!!! I got the hanger steak and it is probably the BEST meal I’ve had at a restaurant!! My husband got the Ahi tuna and was also impressed. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to anyone going to Bay City. Keep up the amazing work Retro Rocks 👏🏼

The drinks and food at this place are exceptional and give off a slightly elevated vibe, and the taste is there to complement that. They have several menu items that arent easy to come by in this area, and at a reasonable price. The music and stuff on the screens makes it feel more relaxed and comfortable

We chose to go here because of the reviews and it was walking distance from our hotel. We were greeted warmly shortly after we arrived and seated outside. Sarah was our server and did a great job answering our questions and making recommendations. My whiskey sour was so good and my husband enjoyed his beer. I had the orange chicken and my husband got the mushroom, swiss and brisket burger. We both enjoyed our meal as well as the atmosphere. We highly recommend dining here and will stop again when in the area.

The staff is completely rude and disrespectful, We waited 30 mins to get a drink and than walked by us 5 times trying to order food. The long hair guy working behind the bar is the worst and disrespectful bartender I’ve ever met ! 3 workers sitting at the bar being lazy the whole time ! This was on August 14th at 9 pm . Finally got the food and we couldn’t even get silverware or condiments ! Our group of 14 will never be back ! Worst place ever !
This is so tough to call. On the one hand, the food is very creative. We ate it all. See the pic. Even delicious! But the atmosphere...well, that leaves much to be desired. My suggestion: make 2 sections! One for cuisine and the chef. The other, for the retro loud music which is totally north of my cultural center. Read: i'm in my 60's with lots of money. Give me what I want!

In town for a funeral and met family here for dinner. The food was excellent and everyone else's looked great too. I had the garlic and carmelized onion hummus, it was the best hummus both my wife and I have every had. I also got the rare ahi tuna seared appetizer for my meal and it was excellent. My wife had the sirloin quesadilla and loved it.
Highly recommend this place for a meal or get together. Plenty of room for a large group too.
