Very disappointed on my visit yesterday afternoon. I have been a customer for decades. I wanted a custom gift box. In the past you would buy the box and then shop the store for the contents. They have always then wrapped it up with plastic wrap and put a ribbon and bow on it. I waited until a clerk was free (young blonde hair girl) and told her what i wanted. She was clueless. Had no idea what I was talking about. So I tried again. Looked at me blankly. Finally she said we'll we can take your name and do it later. I explained to her that in the past they always did it while you wait. She didn't say anything. I'm not from Bay City and didn't want to come all the way back for a 10 minute job. So I left and bought a gift box from another place. Missed out on a nice sale from me. Disgusted.

When the St. Laurent Brothers opened I was totally excited. They carry so much Sugar free candy. When I first came in they didn't have my sugar free malted balls. I made a request and shortly afterwards they were in the Midland Mall store. As I promised I bought 1 pound and it was worth every cent I paid which wasn't to bad at all. Thank you for bringing them to the mall. Everyone was so friendly. I'll be back soon for more. :)

I was in a juried exhibition last night at studio 23. I parked my car a few blocks down so on my way out (the city was hoppin) I saw St. Laurent Brothers Candy Store and strolled inside. They have the best candy in the world. And it is so reasonably priced! The packaged assortments are great for gifts (even if they are just for yourself). So old fashioned. The sun was setting right there on the beautiful Saginaw River. I love Bay City!

I live in Kentucky and come up to see the family. I purchased 1 lb of peanuts in the shell and a lb of red skin peanuts. Both were old and I had to bake them to get them right. I normally get 5 lbs, but I wanted to check for changes., and I found them The old owners would not sell old products. I can go to Kroger to get fresh nuts if I want, but I want to support a local business when I am in town.

Hmmm, so I stopped in on 7-29-24 @ around 1pm. The customer service was mediocre at best. The two young ladies were like zombies behind the counter. No customer service skills whatsoever. The prices are high. But they were out of everything I came in for anyway, so I guess it didn't matter.

I love this store! I give 4 stars only because their ALMOND BUTTER is no longer available. Apparently the ONLY person who is capable of making it can no longer make it because of illness. PLEASE will someone else learn how to make it so you can provide this SUPERIOR PRODUCT to your loyal customers!!! And....may your ill employee get well soon!!!
