On a recent trip to Bay City we found a gem. Suzie Qs Breakfast Nook stood out from the neighborhood surrounding it. A stop inside yielded a atmosphere adorned with Coca Cola memorabilia. I chose the Sampler off the breakfast menu. The food came hot, fresh and delicious. Her homemade blackberry jam was a compliment to the conversation with Suzie Q, her daughter, and grandson. The servings were great and it took sometime, but I eventually cleared the plate. I do not live near to Bay City, but I pledge to return to her restaurant. Having said that, I highly recommend stopping in for a bite!
My father and I had the biscuits and gravy and it was terrible. The gravy was flavorless and felt more like just paste on top of biscuits that felt like wet paper.
On top of this, their hashbrowns were too oily to eat, even with ketchup. To top it all off, they served us EXPIRED CREAMER. Expired February 18.
I beg of you, don't waste your money. Speedway has better breakfast.

The 5 star.. they must work there!! No way!!
This place was extremely dirty dusty everywhere. Ordered a club was more like a BLT sandwich qith core of the lettuce & hard bread not a club that I ordered I couldn't eat it:also, the onion rings looked like they were discolored by the old grease it was cooked in
This was far not worth the 20+ min wait. Btw.. their was only 2 other people there
My little kid found looked looked to be little pieces of hair (3) on the sides of her plate of course she didn't eat it NOT one bite. The waitress said it prob was from the brush the cook uses Well!... We don't eat that either. Nonty. Paid for my other crap food then left and ate at another place
I will NOT be back
NEVER!

Nice local diner offering home cooking at its finest. Only problem was they only took cash, but had an ATM in house. We will visit this cool diner again.

This place is a gem! I was a little skeptical when we pulled up. We went inside anyway, and are we glad we did! The food was absolutely AMAZING! Suzie was our server, she was GREAT. The service was not speedy, but was well worth the wait. The homemade jam and the short stacks melted in your mouth. We even bought some of the homemade strawberry jam to bring home. Will definitely go back when we return to Bay City.

Called at 945 to place a pick up order for 1020 am. Omelet with x crispy hashbrowns. Wrong Omelet middles. They recooked food- but I didn't get to eat lunch because it took so long and ATNN LINE COOK- oil doesn't make browns crispy. They are hashbrowns and tasted like french fries. No flavor. Horrible. Only time ever ate and won't go back. $15 for food I didn't even eat....

Really nice owner and staff. Cook was also serving, which made it feel personal. Cute interior. Good breakfast. Location is convenient but not in an area for great exposure. Cute 50s decor.
