Not sure what happened to this place, but our dinner was bad. Like really bad. Food was burnt and dry, rice and beans had no flavor and were like mush. I haven't had meal this poor in a while. Great waiter though, only good thing about our experience.

I was there last night and was way over charged for 2 drinks. As odd as I found my tab I paid it and tipped and just left the bar. Today I see a charge for more than what I signed for on my bank statement and when talking to co workers today they tell me this place is well known for over charging. Really good way to chase off repeat customers and a horrible reputation to have spreading about your establishment . I will not go back.

If Marcia doesn’t wanna work past 2 AM cleaning up the bar, then maybe she should find another job. Pressuring and making your customers feel uncomfortable to get them to leave your bar isn’t really good for business. She also likes to do this at Dusos right down the block. Some form of discipline is required, or you will continue to lose business. Coven itself is a great environment that has potential. She doesn’t need to be fired, but an attitude adjustment is strongly recommended.

Genuinely, Coven is a pretty chill and enjoying laid back place to have great conversations at, the customer service there is really nice! I myself enjoy hanging out Coven too!😄

We waited twenty minutes to even be acknowledged by a server (which never happened) before giving up, going across the street to Brooklyn Boyz where we got good service and food.

Decided to try this place and never got to. We were greeted as we walked in and then forgotten. Sat 15 minutes while staff walked by and ignored us. We decided to go somewhere that would serve us.
