I used to love this place, especially for a skillet, but I've gotten a raw egg in my takeout order three times now. Talk about an egg-cellent disappointment! I shouldn't have to scramble to cook my egg when I get home. And don't even get me started on the rock-hard, stale toast. I've been going to Zef's for years, but this egg situation is enough to make me crack. It's downright disgusting and unappetizing.. and this all could be 100% preventable.

I hate leaving restaurants bad reviews, and it takes me a lot to leave a bad review. I was in there a few weeks ago and had a very negative experience. My guest and I were at a table eating when the server accidently kicked his cane from the end of the table, which wasn't in the middle of the walk way. Instead of apologizing about it, the server glared at us and continued to do what she was doing. She then watched my guest struggle to pick up his mobile aid. I cannot support a business who mistreats people with disabilities and thinks it's okay not to apologize. Please take this into consideration when thinking about dining here. Service was kind of bad. Food is very bland on top of it.
I have lived in Bay City my whole life and never been in the restaurant before. My loss. Food was good, price affordable, big size meals. I liked the old time interior. Waitress was friendly. Will be back.

we ordered 2 patty melts & a fry and drink ,but we got NO patty melts ,as u see a very small amount of cheese on only one side of bread ,tho our foreign waitress sonia i believe wanted 2 argue that we indeed got patty melts and if we wanted another piece of swiss 4 the other side we must PAY 4 IT, then she giggled that my friend ordered hers 2 go as i didn't eat mine the waitress laughed & said see your friend liked it ,my friend said no we didn't like them but she was starved just spending 3 hours getting her husband's remains ,the waitress didn't even say she was sorry about that then told me not 2 return,,so ill b getting ahold of the owner as this woman should not b in the public she's very rude & mean ...don't go there I've got other nightmares 2 tell....😩😡
