I LOVE the Lakeside! As a local, I get there whenever I can - I only wish they were open for dinner. But their burgers are to die for - my favorite in the area. Their breakfasts are also really marvelous. I always get the Hippie Omelet, because it's truly great EVERY time. Also, try the tater tots. Really, really good.

We came in about half an hour before closing and we're followed by several more customers, some at 5 to close. They assured everyone they were still open and would not rush them out. Great customer service

This is truly a hidden gem! The whole family enjoyed their meals. The funnel cake fries were a hit! The stuffed fried chicken and waffles were delicious and enough to split between multiple people. Great service as well! Highly recommend this diner nestled right up again nst beautiful Bear lake!!
