Price of food was very expensive. Not the restaurant's fault. Tariffs are killing the business.

Every time I am on the island, I have to have a couple of meals there. Winter, spring, summer or fall doesn't matter.

I have decided to move to Beaver Island based solely on the biscuits and gravy. This is hands down the best homemade biscuits and homemade gravy. (I hope my grandma doesn't see this review). The employees were very friendly and the view is awesome!

What a wonderful cafe! We stayed on Beaver Island for 3 nights & ate here all 3 days (2 later breakfasts, one lunch ~ would have probably had dinner there if that was an option). The food was excellent & well seasoned (breakfast sandwiches, quiche, burgers - both regular and vegetarian were A+). The owner, Brian, was super friendly & staff was top notch. Loved the big outdoor porch & cute indoor dining too. Thanks for nourishing us during our visit! We hope to come back!

We were on the island for 4 days and stopped here 3 times. FANTASTIC! Wish we had this kind of place in the Detroit area. QUICHE was amazing! BLAT and Italian sandwich were AWESOME. Ignore the low star ratings. Last visit I got 3 items just so I could save it for later. Only downer was the coffee was a little weak. Super clean!

So delicious! I highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch wrap and definitely get fries! The carrot cake was sooooooooooooo amazing and the slice fed a whole family.
Excellent cold brew as well.

The mushroom quiche is phenomenal! Large portion that was perfect for my husband and I to share with a hot cup of coffee after getting off the ferry.

Quite possibly one of the best biscuits, with some bacon added, I've ever had.
Very clean environment with friendly people.
Seems to be so busy, although the wait time wasn't excessive.
Definitely the best Beaver Island food experience so far.

Food is pretty okay, some menu items are better than others, I had the Avocado toast (called the Garden Islacado toast) and it came with sourdough toast, guac, cucumbers, pickled onions, everything bagel seasoning, with arula on top and a lemon wedge on the side. I loved it! but my brother had the sausage sandwich and said it was greasy. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy and he said it was over-seasoned but under-flavored and the biscuit could have been used to break the table.
The menu options (vegan and non) lured us in, but we liked this place so much we ate there 3 times during our 2-day stay! Would've gone back for dinners too if they were open later! Staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Delicious food, prepared fresh and with care. Convenient location with chill vibe. Clean, single-stall restroom. Outdoor seating on covered porch with great views of the harbor. WiFi available. If we're lucky enough to return to the island someday, we're definitely going back.
