They were having a bad day today. Not sure if they were short handed in terms of cooks and my waitress seemed to be struggling to keep up. It started with the hostess. She sat me a table where I smashed between 2 other tables. I asked to be moved and she kind of rolled her eyes at me. After I got re seated, I waited another 12 min or so before the waitress let know she would be with me shortly. Then it took another 20 minutes to prepare the food and the order was wrong.
So, not the best experience and I will say this is uncharacteristic for this location. Normally all is well.

My food was cold, sloppy prepared and my pinto beans tasted spoil. 🤮

Good food; always love the store!!

Wait times can be pretty long, checking in with the app is definitely recommended. Service was good but a little forgetful on a few things. Food was okay but was expecting better given the reputation of the brand. Entrance to the store was a little strange, when you enter its immediately a shop / store, and the restaurant access is in the back corner. Makes it hard to get around when the place is crowded.

Candice was such a sweet person, before we even asked for an appetizer she made sure they were there. She looked at are drinks and gave a refill right away. When I ordered I had no idea I had a a side and she came back and asked me personally if I wanted a side mind you I am 10. She made me feel like a person not a child. When I asked to speak to the manager she was very worried and thinking she did something wrong but still came back and was very sweet. Keep up the amazing work you do and we will only want you to wait on us because you are wonderful

Awesome environment and great service, I love the gift shop inside the restaurant,very cool. I ordered the cod and collard greens with hush puppies and I was very satisfied. Everything was amazing I will definitely go back soon.

I had a large group of men meeting at the Belleville location. I called 48 hrs. ahead and then again one hour before to get on the list.
The staff was amazing! They sent a text 30 mins before to let us know our table was almost ready. Then again when it was ready. They had the tables set up, and menus out. Took our drink orders immediately and the menu orders shortly after.
The waitresses were very attentive and right there to make sure if we needed anything. Excellent experience!!

Busy as all get out. Waiter was very good. Food was so so. Warm not hot. 🥔 Potatoes were lumpy. Their gravy was tasteless. But as busy as they were I still love it there.

Ricardo was our waiter,a very personable young man. We have never had such a attentive kind server there. The food was good and a all around positive dinner. Extremely clean finally 👏 we will be back finally .

I love a place with good food and customer service

I’m not usually one to give a bad review but my visit was more stressful than it was anything our wait was about 30 minutes to be sat down and then our refills for our drinks took forever I had to ask for biscuits 4 times and everything took forever to come out my dumplings only had one dumpling and service really wasn’t that great

It took forever for anyone to take our order and even longer for it to arrive. The taste was lackluster. If we hadn't been visiting with family from out of town, we would have gotten up and left. It was ridiculous!
