“This is my go to place for breakfast and when I crave Coney Island food. Waitstaff are always prompt, friendly, and efficient. Food has always come out quickly and warm. Portions sizes are fair and they’ve managed to keep the prices lower than most. It’s a great atmosphere to savior an Epicurean meal in the mornings. Hope it continues to do well and“

“Great small town diner feel with hearty food portions and attentive service. Perfect for a quick breakfast or a long chat with a friend. Made it over on a quick layover at DTW... great food (thick gravy on the biscuits and rich french toast) that acted as the perfect fuel for my long travel day and a nonstop flow of coffee kept my local friend going after an early morning to come meet me.“

“Large portions, very tasty food, waitresses are very attentive and keep the coffee flowing. Prices are reasonable. Friendly folks. I think it's called the Village Salad I've had it several times. I got the small size; which is a huge portion, and added chicken. It comes with pita bread. It has all the vegetables you can imagine. I had to take more than half home.“

“Reasonable pricing and the food was very good. We ordered to pick up, so didn't dine in, but restaurant is very clean and neat. good atmosphere. Very friendly staff. It is located at Marriman and Ecrose Rd. Intersection, but might bit difficult to see the restaurant because of behind of the liquor shop.“

“We lost power and had to go out for dinner. So we went to Sam's Place. We had the Polish Sampler plates and an extra side of pirogi. The meal was delicious and the fried sauerkraut was interesting. The tomato sauce on the cabbage roll was bland but the roll was tasty. But the tomato sauce tasted good with the fried sauerkraut. The cheese pirogi was the tastiest in my opinion but my wife like the potato ones. \n The desserts were mediocre. My wife tried the recommended chocolate mousse. It was mostly chocolate pudding. I had the Pumpkin pie and it was as good as the Sara Lee pumpkin pie. Unless you really want dessert, I suggest you skip it.“
