Another wonderful visit from Virginia to 12 Corners Vineyards! We were in the area visiting Grandma’s grave and decided to stop by around opening time on May 4, 2025, for a glass—or a few—of delicious wine. Eva, as always, did not disappoint. She made us feel genuinely welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our second visit in the past few years. This time, we came prepared—with extra room to take home some truly tasty bottles. We’ll definitely be back!
Warm regards,
Dr. Ken and Lorna King
New to the area and seem to hit the jackpot with all the wineries in the area and decided to go chill and explore a few of them. I came in on Sunday for a quick tasting and grab a bottle or two for my cellar. I walked up and stood at the counter and a server walked by me 3 times and refused to make eye contact, she was even working right in front of me and refused to even look up. they had another server who seemed like she was doing an amazing job but was super busy. I decided not to do a tasting as I had other places I wanted to visit so I grabbed a bottle of my usual red and stood there by the register while the same server again pretended I was invisible. A third server came up when she had a free minute and checked me out.
UPDATE: The wine here is amazing. Out of all the local wineries I've visited this one is in my top 2 for sure for the quality of wine. Most of the staff has been very knowledgeable and accommodating on suggestions on what I actually enjoy drinking. I'm very glad I went back and will keep buying more.
We had pre-arranged a group visit, yet when we arrived a snooty staff member corralled our group and told us they could not accommodate our group because even though the party had been arranged prior and assured service over the phone, when nothing was mentioned about reserving online. Our greeting was terribly rude, our group leaders were told online registration through the website was required. After being unwelcome, we had no problem walking out and shaking the dust from our shoes! They need to re-train their staff to be flexible, offer hospitality within unexpected situations and apologize for the confusion. Here’s how it could have gone.
Greeter: Wow! This is a large group! Are you celebrating anything in particular? We aren’t quite prepared right now to serve you, but you are welcome to . . . for a bit and we can serve you a few at a time in say, half an hour? Will that be okay?
And we would have been good with that. Instead it went like this.
Greeter yelling at some of the first in our group to go back to the doorway, then proceeded with “You are an unscheduled large group and our website says you MUST book in advance. We can’t serve you. We have a room full of clients and you didn’t pre-arrange”
Um, yes we did - we called and were told to come.
“No, all large parties must book through our website, as is clearly stated on our website.”
Only after this argumentative host chastised our group did she say anything like stay and wait and we might get to you after half an hour or so.
Who turns away a large group? We did call and tell them. Hostess claimed we needed to reserve online, yet that wasn't conveyed on the phone. Rather we were told to come on in. Once there, we were told we could not be accommodated.
Their revenue loss today and for future...will not return. Rude service from the moment we entered.
12 Corners is a pleasant spot near Benton Harbor with a good variety of wines and ciders for sale. I had a tasting here and was quite happy with the wines I tried. The peach wine was especially tasty, and it’d make for a great spritz. The staff was professional, and the interior of the tasting room was comfortable. If the highway wasn’t so close by, the scenery would be a bit more idyllic. Otherwise it was a great stop.
I loved this place. It had such a great vibe and staff there was kind and nice. I enjoyed the wine tasting as well. I would recommend this place!
A fair selection of wines but not as many as Finn Valey.

I'm not sure yet if I'll be back, being straight up ignored twice doesn't really seem like they want me there anyway.
Very nice visit left with 2 bottles of wine and a 4 pack of hard cider. Dog friendly on patio so bring your fury friend.
Good wine selections and friendly bartender. Beautiful vineyard view.

For a group of inexperienced wine tasters, we had an absolute blast. The staff made us feel extremely comfortable, and the wine was great!
Very abrasive, there was 4 people in the place and we walked in (24 people) and felt attacked. Do not recommend :( we’re not pushy or anything we’re just here to spend money and they were not nice
Excellent, as always
Nice atmosphere, we went for the tractor pull tour of the vineyard ( beautiful), a wedding was taking place. Sweet wines were better than the dry wines. Friendly. Nice view of the property from inside ( lots of glass to look out of). Only 5 tastes , some places give you 6+....
First time at this vineyard for a tasting. I lean toward toward dry red/white. I ended up purchasing a bottle of River Stone Dry White and a Riesling. Amy was knowledgeable and friendly as she poured our tastings. I can't wait to go back for another tasting!
