Wonderful service, good food but very noisy atmosphere - difficult for visiting.

Parking: We had no problem with the parking. We dined at 5:30.

Terrific ambience. Overall pretty good food and cocktails. I've been a few times and I deducted one star because the food had been inconsistent. Do not get Nana's meatballs, very bland.

The food was amazing and the restaurant was very nice, however our waitress wasn't very attentive and that it have a negative impact on our meal. I would definitely go again and just hope to get another waitstaff.

Bread+Bar offers a comfortable atmosphere with an open-kitchen concept and wonderful food served by a great kitchen/staff.

Everything I've tried on their menu has great flavor and presentation. I have found myself mixing and matching flavors from their sharables and their entrées. It's just a very well thought through menu.

The Cacio e Pepe is wonderful, but it is a canvas for other items such as Nana's Meatballs or the Thai Mussels. The Shishito Peppers also pair well with any protein.

This restraunt has quickly become a go-to spot while I am in the Benton Harbor area.

Such a cozy nice dining experience, one of benton Harbor's top restaurants... we were looking for a place to stay and they suggested us a cozy little Airbnb but we ended up finding something else. Was good food good drinks and a fun atmosphere for sure.

Our family went to dinner at Bread + Bar and were blown away by the delicious food, great ambience and top notch staff. We were looking for catering for our daughters upcoming wedding at our home and knew immediately that Bread+ Bar was what we were looking for! Chefs Matt and Justin arrived at our home ready to cook! They could not have been more accommodating to our requests and pleasant to work with. Our guests raved about the food, especially the mushroom risotto, locally sourced vegetables, Amish Chicken and “Nana’s meatballs” which are just like you’d expect they’d be, authentic and delicious! Don’t get me started on the artisan bread provided by “Bit of Swiss” the premier local bakery to compliment the meal, it was outstanding! The presentation of the food was equally noteworthy by the BB crew. I would not hesitate to have Bread + Bar cater any event, or even to have a private event in their beautiful restaurant. Not having a party? Just go have dinner at Bread + Bar, you will not be disappointed!

Unique items in the menu. I had a special ribeye filet, the meat itself was bland. The sauce the meat was sitting in had a flavor of A1 & Ketchup. It was ok. We had an eggplant and pepper appetizer, and IT WAS DELICIOUS! Made my dining experience here. The staff worked well as a team and were very friendly ?! One downside was that it was noisy, which made it hard to hear. Sorry no pics.

We recently hosted a party for my parents 50th wedding anniversary here and it was wonderful! The space was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was outstanding. Could not recommend this location more to host an event, but also to dine. All of the guests raved about the food - the highlights were the french onion purses, caesar salad (the croutons!), the walter's potatoes and the steak. Also, desserts of course!

Let me start by saying the others at our table thought the food was good. For our starters, they all got brought out at weird times. My wife got hers quickly. So quick that the rest of us who had soup and or salad got to watch her eat her entire starter before ours came. I received my soup and salad at the same time. The french onion soup has a partial tomato base which takes away the rich onion taste. It was bland and easily the worst french onion soup I have ever had. Our drinks with dinner were the same. Some brought with garnish, some without. The waitress didn't care. For dinner....I don't like risotto or anything chimichurri. So that takes away half the menu. I wanted the filet special but they were out by 630. The only other beef was coffee rubbed flank steak with, you guessed it, chimichurri. If I wanted my steak to taste bitter (coffee rub) just burn it. Chimichurri was exciting in 2017. For my dinner I went with the siracha chicken with noodles. Who knew the noodles were served cold? I missed that on the menu. But really this dish is a homage to college leftovers. Think reheated buffalo wings with cold ramen and you can imagine how this dish tasted. The others who did order the flank steak weren't given steak knives. While tender, a butter knife just mashes around a tender flank steak. It's so loud in the restaurant that the server can't hear orders and messed up the second round of drinks. We were offered dessert but they only had three boring selections left. After the check came our waitress gave the usual "enjoy the rest of your evening" but it was disingenuous as she was already turning away halfway through saying goodbye. Highly overrated and not worth a second trip.
