We stopped in Blairmore on our way home, going through the Crowsnest Pass on a very hot Saturday in July.\nThe temperature was over 34 C and the outdoor pool besides the Chicken restaurant was absolutely packed with people, trying to beat the heat.\nWhen we walked in around 3 pm to order there was a line up and the small take out restaurant was full.\nBehind the counter, manning EVERYTHING (cash, phone, retrieving orders, taking orders) was ONE young lady. \nBehind, in the kitchen...
There was chicken on standby, so there wasn’t the long wait that I had last time. It was fast and still fresh. One of the people working there brought the food out to my vehicle. It was truly a delightful experience and I can’t wait to go back the chicken flavor. It was delicious. Also had some onion rings. They were fresh crisp. Very tasty.
Nice to be able to call down and have meat sliced, cantaloupe cut up from time to time. Appreciate the fast service and their new menu items will have me down there for breakfast.
And people shouldn't put a whole lot of weight into the negative reviews they have. They are surrounded by two rehabs and the detention center. They can't control their clientele but knowing the volume they do down there and having to tell some 'NO' must be a continual problem....
