I really like this place, everything I’ve ever gotten was very delish. The women that run the place are so nice too. My one single critique and the reason for 4 stars is that you can’t order a chicken Caesar wrap! You have many wraps and a Caesar salad on the menu, it’s the best of both worlds. Need it!!

I thought this was an eatery for canines. Surprise! Under that timeless giant red “FOOD” sign along Main Street on the St Joe edge of Benton Harbor is a great little sandy shop for humans. I mean real, hero type stacked meaty & veggie sandwiches fit for greedy yet singular appetites. Only open until 2:30 in the afternoon.. and no coffee. Great for take out or eat-in. Modern, clean and serene atmosphere. You gotta try Poochies. But no pets allowed.

I've been ordering lunch weekly here for nearly 2 years & I highly recommend Happy Poochie for a quick, delicious lunch option in the Harbor. I love the ease & timeless of online ordering via Toast, the convenience of their outside pickup window since I only have 30 minutes for lunch. Their staff is lovely & their food is consistently delectable! Love the Poochie!! Makes me so Happy!!!
Parking: Parking gets slim at lunch, but there's an overflow dirt lot connected to the paved lot.

We have been meaning to eat here since we moved to the area, but our work hours prevented us from doing so. Today, we had a rare day off together and were able to stop in. I’m so glad we did so!
I tried the Turkey Guac wrap, and my husband had the Turkey Ham and Chive sandwich. Both were fresh and delicious! We also got to taste test their new menu item, a dill-potato soup, which was tasty (dill can be hard to balance in a soup, but it was very good!). There’s also a selection of baked goods by the register — try the lemon blueberry cookie; you won’t regret it!
The staff members were friendly, and the atmosphere is modern and welcoming.
We had a great experience and will definitely be back when we can! Thank you!
