This is a hidden gem snuggled right up against the river within Benton Harbor, right across the bridge from Saint Joe. The food is decent bar food, but the environment during the summer is amazing with live entertainment and drinks by the water. During the winter it is cozy and has great prices. The kitchen is open very late and it is a great option if you are burning candle light.
The people are awesome! I worked in the area building wooden bridges back around 2011 or so and went there a lot. I'm a trucker now and still stop in to see my old friends when I'm up from Florida and anywhere near the area. ?
This is a small bar which was not busy when we arrived on a Monday evening. We were greeted immediately by the bartender when we walked in the door. It was obvious he was not accustomed to waiting tables, but was overly accommodating and did whatever he could to make our visit enjoyable, He was spot on with the service and very polite. It was good bar food and we would stop here again. The owner even put on music selecting a genre she knew we would like. This is a place that appreciates...
