Service: 5/5Atmosphere: 5/5.Grateful for the delicious experience at this wonderful restaurant! Souls Ground Cafe is a beautiful hidden gem near the art district of downtown Benton Harbor. It was refreshing to find a place in Benton Harbor with fresh juice, smoothies, and clean food. The atmosphere was absolutely incredible, with lights and encouraging posts around. The food was delicious! ? Chef Audy is an amazing chef who uses wonderful spices with plant based and clean food. The team there deliver great service, as they explain the menu with patience. All in all, if you never tried Souls Ground Cafe, find your opportunity to enjoy this great food.

Vegetarian options: "Each week, Chef Audy is offering dishes she creates. Most made with foods that are in season. Not only plant based, but some meat offerings as well. Inspiration can be local or from around the world.""WERKED-Pico de Gallo, Spinach Mix, Queso"Fresco Sour CreamMEX - Cilantro, Red Onion, LimeVEGAN DISH OF THE WEEKChef Audy inspired dish made from scratch, using seasonal foods serve. The taco I had description - "Earthy, smokey, Chef Audy seasoned Groat (Kasha), topped with Pico de Gallo, Salsa, Creamy (add Queso Fresco & Sour Cream for Vegetarian)."

Kid-friendliness: Tacos and juice are items children can identify. They would love it!

Parking: There is limited parking. However, I found street parking right out front of the restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility is great. Everything is on one level.

I placed an order today and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Also enjoyed the ability to text my order and receive prompt responses.

Lovely vegan/vegetarian options. Tacos were doubled up tortilla wise, which should be standard practice. More affordable than the other options nearby. The atmosphere is a lovely urban "hole in the wall" and very clean.

Great food, prices, and atmosphere! 2 tacos and a side is 6$, a price impossible to argue with. The building is a bit rough and food is slow (she works alone), but it feels so cozy, service is nice, and the food is the best I've had in Michigan.

My partner and I had the Mexi bowl and a vegan sandwich. They happened to be out of the vegan turkey, but were so accommodating and offered a grilled veggie sandwich as an alternative which was perfect for my partner who needed a milder option. The food was excellent, filling, and flavorful. For the vegan bowl you can select one of two kinds of plant-based protein, the Falaco (the chef's special which is falafel-based), or a Buckwheat Kasha. Both of these offer a unique twist on a bowl or taco option. I tried the Kasha which was delicious, and I want to go back to try the Falaco. They are unfortunately no longer 100% vegan, but the chef and and menu are still very plant-forward.
