This particular Steak N' Shake sucks. It's nothing like the ones in the midwest. You order at the counter and it takes FOREVER to get your food. Also, they dont let you make those cardboard cars and I dont care how old I am. I want to make the blue one.
Waited 10 minutes to be seated then another 30 minutes waiting on shake! Ordered food at 6pm got food at 7:30pm! Ordered chilli but never got it due to it not being hot!!! Worst experience ever at a steak and shake! Waitresses were frustrated due to customers walking out all evening! Wonder why??

Most Steak and Shake spots are really good. Delicious burgers, fries and shakes. The service could be better at some select spots, but all in all I've almost always had good service and food at Steak and Shake. I will say this. The Benton Harbor, MI location is closed with good reason.
