Had a nice time here with friends during a ski weekend. Good pizza and cheese curds. Pretty lively on a Saturday night too.

It's my cousin's favorite place, so I end up there often. There are tables and a bar. The owner does good work.

We have been here several times over two years. This restaurant is excellent. Every time the service and food have been amazing! Consistently delicious large servings and this tiny town restaurant could teach many big city restaurants a few things. Will be back again and again.

Very disappointed. The pizza was miserable and a thin as cracker. The service was lacking; no mention of a special to us but to 2 men that came in. After a long day driving, it would have been nice to know there was more to choose than pizza and burgers. No refills on drinks. Battered mushrooms were wonderful but, again, to mention that they where enough for 4 people would have been helpful.

I had high hopes for this place after reading reviews, but we were underwhelmed. Service was pleasant but rushed. Steak came out overcooked (ordered medium rare and got well done) but it was corrected quickly and without a hassle. Food was fine. The highlight was the mashed potatoes. The tables and bathrooms were clean, and it was relatively busy, but it's not someplace I would be in a rush to go back to.
Had our family reunion dinner here. Awesome food, service and ambiance.

How difficult can it be to ruin an Americana comfort food? Turns out it was possible to ruin a bacon cheeseburger. The short side of the story is this: The fries were at best Luke warm, the burger was so charred that I couldn't really enjoy it, and the bun was also burnt and hard at the bottom. It was such a turn-off that I couldn't finish my meal... They say that you don't get a second chance at making a first impression. Not sure if returning would be a good idea...

Came here after a long day at the porkies thinking this was going to be a quick 45 minute stop to eat and get gas before our 3 hour long drive back to Marquette. Completely snow-balled into one of the worst experiences at a restaurant we've had. The hostess was essentially serving us since the waitress we had was quite obviously avoiding our table after I had them return a bowl of soup for a cup instead. The hostess accidentally knocked and broke the decanter of water at our table. This was an accident and totally forgivable but the lack of food and service afterwards was not. I received the salad I ordered only after watching it on the counter in the kitchen waiting to be picked up by the absent waitress after 30 minutes but no wrap for my significant other that was ordered at the same time with less ingredients. Almost an hour later we received the wrap but by then I had finished their salad and we asked if we could leave. The absent waitress had completely vanished at this point. The hostess was the only helpful one through the entire time we were there. I didn't leave a tip, but if I did it would've been for her since she's the only one that cared and actually served us.

Should of gotten the pizza like my friend recommended. No, I got the turkey melt. Meh, not worth the drive from Ironwood. They have good ratings too. Bartender did not look too happy when I walked in around 830. Plenty of locals there, felt like I didn't belong. Bartender didn't even say much. I wanted to eat there but my stuff was packed up to go so I left.

7/1/23 Update: Amazing cheese curds, both in taste (hand battered) and portion size. Went for the fish fry this time and had the haddock ($14) and combo ($17 with fish, shrimp, and crab cake). Had a bit of a wait but that was to be expected with the 4th of July weekend but saw that we could've made a reservation. The menu seems to have been scaled back since the last time we ate in. We've been ordering pizzas to-go almost every time we've been back in the area, and love the pizza fries that actually aren't listed.Delicious pizza! (Thin, crispy, cracker-crust with ample toppings.) They also have a back room that can accommodate multiple big groups - might want to call for a reservation.
Introducing the WFO Philly - Normal Philly with diced Jalepenos and cream cheese spread on the bun. Fantastic sandwich!!! Great drinks mojitos to old fashions and beyond. Give a WFO Philly a try!!
Best cheese curds up north! Had great experience! Can’t go wrong on anything you get.
