We have been here several times over two years. This restaurant is excellent. Every time the service and food have been amazing! Consistently delicious large servings and this tiny town restaurant could teach many big city restaurants a few things. Will be back again and again.
I had high hopes for this place after reading reviews, but we were underwhelmed. Service was pleasant but rushed. Steak came out overcooked (ordered medium rare and got well done) but it was corrected quickly and without a hassle. Food was fine. The highlight was the mashed potatoes. The tables and bathrooms were clean, and it was relatively busy, but it's not someplace I would be in a rush to go back to.
7/1/23 Update: Amazing cheese curds, both in taste (hand battered) and portion size. Went for the fish fry this time and had the haddock ($14) and combo ($17 with fish, shrimp, and crab cake). Had a bit of a wait but that was to be expected with the 4th of July weekend but saw that we could've made a reservation.The menu seems to have been scaled back since the last time we ate in.
