Great food and better service. Laura served us and she was great. Red, white and blue waffles were delicious. Loaded potatoes were great too.

So we used to love this place great home cooking nice portions, friendly people reasonable prices. But I’m not sure what’s happened as of recently because the portions have gotten much smaller and the other day we were in there and I asked for a little gravy for some fries I think or maybe it was a diced potatoes for the breakfast and chicken fried steak already had gravy they charged me extra for the gravy. OK I understand that I guess and a friend of mine had a cup of coffee that was $4.99 for a cup of coffee. So I guess what I’m saying is the prices have gotten high they’ve started adding on for everything we asked for some different potatoes I think and want a diced and they have those were extra. Portions of gotten smaller and everything is extra and really five dollars for a cup of coffee.? I can do a Keurig cup for $.35

Always enjoy going to ala mode the wait staff is friendly and prompt our food is always exceptional and the place is very clean and inviting this place has become a staple I only wish they were open a little later but it’s ok I’ll take what I can get You will not be disappointed if you choose to visit this gem of a restaurant
