Great service and food. Order the Bananas Foster if you like fire and a little table side show. It's...bananas.

We loved our experience and the waitress at the Blue Cow! The food tasted great, elegant atmosphere and our waitress was polite, friendly and informative! We couldn't have asked for a better night out on the town!

What a nice place and I was excited about this restaurant before our arrival. This was a chosen spot, based upon leg work that I had done, and the experience certainly matched! Great service, excellent food, nice lighting + atmosphere and cannot wait to go back!!!

Completly disappointed, went last night at 5:30 p.m. , place was almost empty , hostess was not having a good day apparently as she sat us in the far front corner of restaurant next to the entrance door? Food and drinks are normally good as we have eaten here a couple times before but not tonight. Moscato was room temp when served and the bolognese was served barely luke warm... waiter was nice realized we were not happy with food but didn't act on it...Not acceptable for the prices charged for good and drinks..Will be challenging to want to return after this..

Realize that this was my experience.Unfortunatly my mistake was that I chose this restaurant for lunch while travelling. This was a timing mistake as we could not partake in the true potential of this restaurant. The Blue Cow in my opinion, would be best if you were staying in town, went for dinner, appetizers and hopefully wine, And you were not in a rush to get on the road. The Sunday afternoon after Thanksgiving, our Host/Waiter Tyler was extremely courteous and did his best to make our experience rememberable. He made me some fresh coffee that he said was good, and he was absolutely right. The food was mostly innovative, creative and spot on. The Champagne chicken was great, the risotto was perfect, the whitefish was enjoyed by all as was the vegetable puree. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to remake and rename the "Jambalaya dish." Although I did not order this dish, I did taste it. The suggestion is based on the addition of the strongly italian herb sauce is skip the rice, drop the creole part of the name, add penne pasta, reduce the amount of sauce, add a proper amount of cheese/ cracked pepper and name it "Sicilian Style Jambalaya."If I ever find myself nearby, I would be happy to enjoy more of the menu, and some of the daily chef creations.

Husband was served raw Champagne Chicken and my Waygu steak was way overcooked. We were offered to be comped a free dessert and originally told we couldn't get the banana foster but our waitress was nice enough to accommodate it. The honey goat cheese bread appetizer was our favorite plate we had. Waitress was nice and restaurant was cozy.

The atmosphere of this place is really lovely, the fireplace and the warmth here is so cozy. I love how there are cow pictures everywhere hence the name of the restaurant! It's cute and fun. I've been coming to Big Rapids my whole life surprised to see a restaurant like this made it here! The food and service were nice! I loved my kale Cesar salad. Yummmmmmm

We had a group of four and all were very impressed with the entire night! Madi, our server, was wonderful. The drinks were great- wonderful Quilt Cab, Smoked Old Fashions, and amazing Chocolate Martinis!! The food was wonderful- steaks were the best we have had at a restaurant(and we Love steak!) , the mussel appetizer (very garlicky) and smoked fish dip, potatoes gratin, jambalaya, and the crème brûlée dessert were all amazing! Seriously nothing bad to say- everything was GREAT!!! Can’t wait to go back! Great job BLUE COW!
