okay. quality has declined noticeably in Big Rapids. Ice cream is still the same but the choclates if you take them home they are dry and crumbly and they have way too many college kids making stuff with no professional staff which may explain things. The owner Carleen is never there and makes her husband do all the work and he always looks tired.

Kilwins is very inviting and the decor gives it a lot of hometown charm, the desserts are delicious a little on the pricey side but the service is amazing!
