I was on a bike packing trip from North Michigan to Minnesota, I stopped at this place for water since it was the first town id come across since reed city , the bartender didn't hesitate to ask what happened and offer water & eventually another gentleman at the bar got me two hotdogs , I can say if not for their help I'd have been eating air and drinking from the stream

Awesome staff. Great food and drinks. So much fun to be outside in the summer time with your friends. They have cornhole, a disc golf basket, a fire place, and horse shoes. Fred is awesome and makes sure you’ll enjoy your time… as long as you let other people enjoy theirs. Linda always makes you feel at home when you stop by. The entire team there is an absolute UNIT and makes sure you have a great time. Love sawmill.
Cost was reasonable, but extra cost for fries was not. Frys portion didnt equal half the cost of the hamburger.

Great place to meet friends and just have some drinks play games listening to music watching the game on a big screen tv talking to friends go out back in the lawn a drink and talking playing horseshoes see how you do next time the bartenders are always friendly and they will help you with any questions you may have about what to do in big rapids and mecosta county if they don’t know they will usually find out for you

Good bar food. Has outdoor seating too. Limited draft beer selections. Right off the White Pine Trail for bicycle riders. The ceiling is covered in dollar bills, and other cool postings on the walls. They have a stage for musicians and mic nights.
