This was awful! An $8 cup of soup tasted like it came from a can. $12.95 for a sandwich, on a hamburger bun! I cant believe people recommend this place.
The food was great and we didn’t wait long. Shot a game of pool and listened to the jukebox while Charlee did her thing on our food. I 100% recommend this place if you’re out with friends and looking for a good time. Charlee was great!!
Stopped here because of all the great reviews, but really wish I had passed it up. Portion to price ratio is pretty sad. They were out of multiple things. Waited almost an hour for five sandwiches (we dined in, I ordered one sandwich to go). It seems like a lot of the food was microwaved. Sandwiches were prepared and brought out one at a time, so by the time we received the last sandwich ordered, the first one was completely cold. Between the food quality, cost, time waiting and service it was a very dissatisfying experience. Will not be returning.

Never open, I’ve tried coming 5-6 times when it says they’re open. Never answer the phone to know if they’re open.

Rosie is my kind of people. Well traveled lady. East Coast style all the way. Time and effort go into her housemade soups and sandwiches. I was impressed with her service and cleanliness of the deli. Big projects going on I look forward to going back.

Wonderful customer service and incredible sandwiches! The entire staff was willing to talk us through the menu and answer any questions.
We sought out this place because of the fantastic reviews and it did not disappoint! We were told the deli was under new management and that they were making more menu items fresh from scratch. My corned beef on rye grilled with provolone and house mustard was fantastic! Hubby had Staten Island special. The sandwich was so loaded he had trouble getting a bite. Homemade chicken noodle and navy bean ham was also very good. Now making meatballs from scratch for the subs and the locals are loving it.
We went on January 9th to find the door locked and no notice on the door. We subsequently called a couple days later and no one answered. We sent an email to the restaurant and asked had the restaurant been closed. They apologized in a return email and said there was an employee illness. We also found out later that Seymour is no longer there, however he is mentioned in current comments online. According to Seymour, he left six months ago. So, just a heads up - the food may not be the same as before and I’d check by phone first to make sure they are open.
How in the world is this place rated a 4.9? Completely unremarkable food that tasted okay but was completely average, and was top dollar for an very below sized sandwich with an under average amount of meat. Plus I've never had a sub on what was basically a hot dog bun.
When I say that it was very average I'm being polite, for the price the sandwiches were very underwhelming.
There's too many other options on the area for me to ever recommend this place to eat except in an emergency.
Choose wisely, choose another restaurant.

An average of 4.9 stars tells me that the people who frequent this sandwich shop haven't been to many deli's outside of this town.
Let me begin by saying that I take price, quantity, and quality into consideration when rating an establishment.
They weren't "bad" sandwiches, but they were nothing special, and when taking price into consideration, they definitely fell short.
We bought a Philly, full size, a Rueben (reg. size) and a small Sicilian. No sides, no drinks, $41.59.
Very small and narrow, hot dog size buns for the subs. Maybe 3oz of meat. Cheap white "texas toast" bread for the sandwich.
I was not impressed at all. The pictures posted to Google do not resemble anything we got. My thumb is in the Rueben pic, so you can see how tiny the sandwich is.
There are so many better options available.
Not to mention, the inside lobby (dining area) was dirty.
We will not be returning.

Staff seemed to argue at each other and were stressed out. They could never remember our order. They asked about 5 times.
The sandwiches were not good. The meatballs were small and not even that warm. The tomato sauce was 2 star at best. My dad’s king of queens sandwich looked pathetic.
The price was very expensive for the low quality sandwiches that come out of this place.
I do not recommend eating here.

Amazing food, looked fresh, tasted fresh, good environment and friendly staff. Would definitely dine food here again when I travel to birch run.
I've been by here 4 times (every time was between 12:30-3:00), and it's always closed.. I'm here now, and they're closed again! I'd love to try the food, but I can't try for a 6th time to see if they're open..
Sub was delicious, fresh ingredients and friendly atmosphere! Nice variety of subs to pick from!
