Tried this place tonight and the pizza was delicious, the mozzarella sticks were great and the cheesy bread was fantastic, chicken tenders and fries left something to be desired though also chicken tenders were half burnt. Pizza crust was damn near perfect and clearly made from scratch!!!!

Pizza was terrible. And entirely overpriced for what it was. Equivalent to a frozen store bought.🤢

Me and the wife like trying local pizza joints when we travel. Goal post is a solid choice if you're in the Birch Run/Frankenmuth area and want to try something local. BLT pizza, loaded potato skins and a chef salad definitely helped with the hunger and had solid flavor. Pizza was a bit dry and could've used some extra sauce but the salad was tasty and it was huuuge lol recommend ?

Have been coming here for years! Food is amazing, and wait times are very reasonable. Not overpriced either, if you ask me! We've ordered separate dinners including stromboli, cheese bread and a ham/cheese sub with onion rings, all for around $20 and the portions are huge. Typically have a decent variety of ice cream too. Family favorite is the arcade style games and outdoor Gazebo. Wonderful way to kick back and soak in the experience. It offers picnic tables and benches, is handicap accessible, pet friendly, and even has a little library. Nice, big paved lot with plenty of parking. Only thing that throws me off from time to time are the hours of operation. Seems like the days they are either closed or close early are always the times we want to stop in! I'm sure it has something to do with staffing, though. Service is great. Would love to see some updates to the interior and games, but the overall atmosphere encompasses that classic yet unique, small-town charm. It's a gem in my book. No complaints ?
Kid-friendliness: Love that they brought back the arcade games after Covid. Decent variety, but wish they still had the 2 player racing game. The hunting game in the side room is alright if it's working, but I'd rather see more arcade style games as opposed to an abundance of claw machines. The first two small claw machines upon walking in are for candy or rubber ducks. They're perfect because kids can retry as many times as they need, since everyone wins! Next, the squishies/fidget balls one is good too and not unreasonable difficult to snag a prize. Then, there's the classic coin push, which speaks for itself. And finally, my least favorite is the claw machine in the side room offering needless "Bling". Disappointing...but then again, it's never in working order, either, so just an eye sore rather. My suggestion would be to add 2-3 more video game or pinball style games to change it up and offer great variety for all ages. An update in general wouldn't hurt. There is also a change machine available to convert your bills. All in all, the fact that Goal Post keeps the games around is what makes them an iconic yet traditional, fun and family-friendly restaurant. It's the best part about taking the kids to Goal Post! Perfect addition to keep them occupied while waiting for their ice cream or dinner...then we typically head outside to finish up at the Gazebo.

We went here at the urging of a friend. The pizza is very good. The crust is excellent. Their sauce is good, but they use it sparingly. On the other hand, they are generous to a fault with the ham topping. We had a mountain of it on our pie. I was disappointed to see that they use canned rather than fresh mushrooms. The next time we go back, we will definitely order pizza again - without mushrooms, with a side of sauce, and with a doggy bag for the excess ham.

Worst pizza I've ever had. Everything was bland. Crunchy dried crust. Was like they cooked me a DiGorno and had to over cook it to cook the green peppers.

Ordered a large Stromboli and cheese bread last night. First off Stromboli and bread came uncut. No garlic butter or parmasan over either. (When I called the lady on the phone told me I have to request it to be cut and ask for garlic butter on it) seriously?? lol
Stromboli was under cooked and doughy. Very weak on the toppings. Never seen a pepperoni and all the ham was on one side.
Won’t be returning. Wouldn’t recommend,ever.

Place is garbage. My food was rock hard. I got a BLT pizza and there was barely any sauce on it that was also rock hard. It was my first time trying it and I’ll never go back again if you guys can go to little ceasers even they do a better job. My bread sticks were rock hard it was like a dog eating a bone. Terrible place save your money and go somewhere else.
