A couple friends and I came to watch the band and have some drinks. Though the environment was great, and the bar was very clean over all, the service was less than desirable. We had Kenzi and it very much felt like getting another drink, napkins, ect was nothing short of a burden. We would wait a long time prior to having to get her attention from the far corner of the bar, where she was talking with coworkers and very obviously slacking off.

Italian steak sandwich, French dip, and cheese curds were all delicious. Nice spot super close to the mall. Out of towners should come here instead of Applebee's and the other awful chains.

This was our first time visiting the Bus Stop Bar & Grille. We stopped in for a late lunch and were promptly greeted by and drink order taken. Staff was great! Very friendly, attentive, just great service. It was not really busy, but she was working a number of tables and the bar. There are great selections on the menu and the prices are in line with most everyone else. We got a cheese curds appetizer and I have to say, we thought they were the best curds we have ever had! Our food came out in a reasonable time, hot, and exactly as we ordered. I had the Bus Stop Burger. It was really good, but I thought the patty size was on the small side. That is my reason for four stars and not five for food. I know it seems trivial, but I was expecting one of those big bar burgers. Their homemade chips are excellent though. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their meals and had no complaints. The establishment was clean and it was a great environment. They appeared to have a group of regulars at the bar having a great conversation, which added to the experience. Definitely a local neighborhood bar feel.I would recommend The Bus Top Bar & Grill for the food. I am not sure what weekends are like or when entertainment is going on, but our weekday experience was great. Thanks Bus Stop Bar & Grille!

They turned off the lights at 8:30 because they had a band when we were eating our food. It was totally dark and we couldn't see our food. The band was so loud we couldn't talk or hear to each other or the waitress. Also it cost my son 64.00 for two chicken dinners. This includes the tip but the music was so loud I tried to tell my son I already gave the waitress a tip but he couldn't hear me. Please don't turn off the lights while people are eating their dinner. Smh. We were a table of 4 trying to enjoy a family dinner. Ended up trying to eat in the dark lol. I've already sent a message to the business. No response yet. This is a restaurant AND bar and music at 8:30 (which is already well after we ordered. We waited a long time for our food.)is not a good time for dining customers. Especially to eat in a loud environment and complete darkness. We liked going here up until this visit. Probably our last.

Our waiter at T Dubs in Frankenmuth recommended we eat here after we asked to eat where the locals eat. It was horrible. Never offered drink refills and the queso was like water. An expensive mistake and before you ask, I still tipped 20%. We traditionally like to ask about more local places when we travel but not in this area. We will stick with the tourist spots. At least we will get service.
