First time going there. We only ordered soups that was a homemade chicken and vegetable soup. Vert delicious and was served quickly and it was hot! You would really like this place. It too is nostalgic, with old day memories and some of the things are for sale! Price is $-$$.

Stopped by on 10-08-21 and hoped to place a carry-out order but was told by the friendly waitress that they do not offer carry-out and had not for the last sixth months. I do hope this business changes this policy, we are still in a pandemic and I like so many other health conscious individuals prefer carry-out in the safety of my own home versus eating in a dining area without a mask. Even without a pandemic, busy people rely on the convenience of carry-out. Please cater to customers and change this policy, I’m sure you’d get much more business.

SIMPLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received in a very long time! Their web page online states dine in and take out. I have my mother who recently has had some health issues and cannot dine in. She wanted something different for lunch while I was visiting and taking care of her. I called to place a "take out order". I was yelled at by the owner they have not done them in some time, they would not allow me to sit at a table and be served to take home and when I asked, "Are you refusing to serve me food?" The owner said, "Yes and hung up the phone on me". I had an astonished look on my face. All of this because I wanted a take out order like it says you offer for my mom with medical mobility issues?!?! I called back and got the other owner who was equally as rude to a customer as the first. I have been coming to this restaurant for years, recommending people go eat there because the food is good and I have driven many times an hour to eat....I will NOT be back. I don't care how good your food is, if that is how you treat people on the phone. I took my business elsewhere locally, we thanked them for doing take out and we had a delicious lunch my mom could enjoy.Apparently they are making to much money, do not need another customer or to be appreciative of their returning ones and haven't had a hard enough year with COVID in a small town to treat people kindly.

First time here and will be returning. Tasted fresh, hospitality on point, all around good, good, good.

Very friendly, and a great atmosphere. They even have a small shop where they sell home decor and etc... It was near closing time so the deserts were sold out and the cook brought over tootsie roll pops and offered them to us. Such a nice gesture of hospitality. Food was fantastic and plentiful! Our waitress did a fantastic job of service. I highly recommend this place if your in this town or just passing by.
