The meals are always great at Stables, the restaurant behind the old Hathaway house. The salmon was some of the best I've ever had and everything was fresh. Friendly, open environment with patrons and staff. As relaxed as any neighborhood restaurant but with food quality that competes at a higher level.

We ate at the Stables for my birthday. They were super great at taking precautions for Covid. Our waiter was extremely attentive and our food came out fast. My husband's Reuben was fantastic as usual. I got the new OMGBLAT Sandwich, blt plus avocado. It was delicious but I would get it untoasted next time as the bread was very dry. I miss the shredded bbq pork sandwich, it was my favorite!! Best banana cream pie I've ever had!!!!

Absolutely my most favorite resturant ...I Love this place ...the food is awesome ...the wait staff is great ...only had one bad waitress years ago on mothers day ...the new owners were not that great lol ...but for the most part i have always loved this place .

We have been going for 40 years....driving from Toledo, it was so fabulous and superior food. We went yesterda after a 10 yr lapse to find it was closing and rightly so. The chef left, the food was overpriced and awful.Still lov the atmosphere but I can now see why it is empty...so disappointed in every single dish we had !

We have eaten here the past four years for Thanksgiving and enjoy it every time. The food is incredible, the menu choices are traditional yet creative, the staff is kind and welcoming - even with how busy it gets, the atmosphere is warm and festive, and the desserts are worth saving room for!
