The food was great!
Our service was horrific. Stephanie D. She was rude. Left us waiting for long periods before coming to the table, from start to finish. She was only decent when she sat down the check and told us to have a good night, shocker, she wanted one last chance for a decent tip. She charged us for something she told us about and didn't tell us it was extra- (a dipping sauce, like a smokey tomato type sauce) she was awful the entire experiance- including the end when she tried to balance 2 tables leaving at the same time, we stacked our plates and put at end, she took the other tables dirty dishes and stacked them on our table to take both stacks back together. So gross.
They had the door propped open because it was such a beautiful day out, however we spent most the visit swatting flies off our food. That was definitely annoying and again, gross.
But as a whole, will be back, hopefully w another server, food was very good!
And good music was being played overhead too!

After a very long afternoon and evening driving to Boyne Mountain Skybridge, we decided to head into Boyne City to eat instead of Gaylord.
The menu is not very large like many Mexican restaurants have something that everyone should enjoy.
The salsa is extremely delicious (we brought a pint home which they sell). We also had the fresh catch: cajun whitefish with rice and vegetables, and the ancho chicken enchilada. The food had great flavor and presentation.
To bad we are not closer because we would definitely return. We highly recommend the restaurant.

Food is amazing! Not exactly traditional but the spin works. The waitress we had was simply a darling and very accommodating to requests. Atmosphere was clean and festive with wonderful music and decorations

This restaurant used to be a favorite of ours but the last few visits have not been up to expectations. The food was blah, the menu was not inspiring, the service was slow, and the condition of the restaurant was worn and dirty. We noticed food on the floor, dirty tables around us and a generally unappetizing atmosphere. The first time this happened, we assumed that they had just had a large party leave or a big rush, but we experienced the same conditions again on our next visit. Sadly, we are crossing this off our list of Boyne restaurants.

Special of the night Chicken Enchilada ordered two left one on the table so flavorless , no cheese , was not the correct sauce either , waitress and waiter never came back to the table until I asked for them. LAST TIME I EVER EAT AT RED MESA Stouffers Enchiladas are much better !!!

Disgusting food. This was my *beef burrito* &*Nothing* fresh. One bite & brought it back to use it as a doorstop. This is a Gordon Ramsey project. That part of my takeout that I ate was gross refried beans like you get out of the can. I was just that hungry. But at least I know what a canned dinner of refried beans is. This is one step up.
11/02/2024: Visited on a Saturday Night for dinner. The burritos here are great. I had the Grouper Baja Tacos, and was not disappointed. The key lime pie is heaven on a fork. Thank you so very much.
