Love this place!!! Very hard to find a place where you get a friendly staff, amazing food, and an incredible view. The food was sooo delicious. I come up here every summer and this is always a must. Apps are great, filet and fish dishes are so good..and you have to get the oreo dessert. Its AMAZING!!

Best restaurant in Boyne City hands down. The view from the deck is beautiful, food is delicious and service is impeccable.

We tried the Tuesday evening fish fry at The Strand. All you can eat cod fish fry for $16. Beautiful view on Lake Charlevoix. Waitress (Kaylie?) did an excellent job. Live music was a nice touch. Food was excellent. We all enjoyed our fish. Creative presentation. Fries were very good as well. Regular menu looked a little limited, but we will definitely be back for the fish fry again.

Patio table we reserved for 7:00PM was in full sun and therefore we opted to eat in the main dining room. We had their “special” lamb dinners. All four meals were very slow on delivery and the lamb was almost impossible to cut. They claimed the problem was due to a “New guy on the grill” and offered us free desserts. Very noisy and would be classified as a less than a good dining experience.

Took the family to The Strand last week before the 4th of July and had an awesome burger. Thick, juicy, cooked to perfection with all the fix’ns! Loved it! Locals and visitors need this restaurant on your must do list. The views of the Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club and beautiful Lake Charlevoix are outstanding. Dine inside or out.

Delicious all you can eat fish fry with live entertainment tonight. The restaurant has indoor/ outdoor seating overlooking Sommerset Pointe Harbor on Lake Charlevoix. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed; but the food is definitely upscale. Amy and her staff were friendly and very attentive. If you are in the Boyne City or Charlevoix area, this is a must stop for a wonderful dinning experience!

New owners last year have stepped up the restaurant and their service. Extremely limited menu. But, Chef Simon is very talented with his accomplishments. He uses various vegetables to flavor the sides and makes them look very nice. We were disappointed with the perch entree because it was very dry also, the couscous infused with red beats was not good. The whitefish was excellent as was the burrata salad I ordered as a starter. The menu needs to add a chicken entree and a steak in addition to the beef tenderloin. Salad entrees need to have an optional protein addition such as chicken or salmon.

Our server, Brenda, was fantastic! Food was good for the most part. My fiance's steak was a little over done. I ordered the perch, prepared with the whitefish sauce & slaw. It arrived incorrectly, but Brenda recognized the mistake before serving it and had it quickly corrected. Once it arrived, it was great! The rest of our party enjoyed their meals.
