Great experience. I am new to fly fishing and had a bad guide in Wyoming. Koz knew I wanted to learn and had exceptional patience with me. Shared several techniques and made it fun. Weather was amazing. I did not have any famous pictures of huge trout, but I learned from an experience guide who shared as much knowledge as he could. I plan to go back as much as I can. My little brown trout and rainbow would be made fun of by anyone who doesn’t know the complexity of fly fishing. It’s a beautiful sport that takes a lot of patience and skill.

I recently took a full day trip fishing with Koz. I have zero formal training fly fishing and had only been playing with it a month prior. I would recommend the experience to any angler experienced or just learning. He was super patient, taught me a lot of good things, and I feel much more confident and knowledgeable fly fishing. We did a half-day evening float with Koz on the Jordan River, and it was terrific. I brought my 10-year-old son along, and it was a memorable experience for both of us. Peaceful, scenic, and full of wildlife you can only see on a Michigan river. We caught some fish, learned a lot, and just had a great time. Koz is a talented guide and teacher, and he made the whole evening relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience fishing with Koz. I took my 22 year old son who has never fly fished. Koz was very patient showing him some basic casts while on the water. We caught some fish and great memories. The conversation was great, the river was beautiful, the fish were biting, and overall an amazing experience! We will come back and fish with Koz again!

Koz is the man! Just finished an overnight float down the Jordan during the hex hatch. He knows the river and it’s history inside and out, put us on fish throughout our trip. It doesn’t get better than aggressive trout smashing giant dry flies. 5 stars!

My brother and I learned to fly fish from Koz. We had a lot of teaching opportunities during our 8 hours on the Manistee and Koz knew exactly how to cater to our needs. Koz knows the river like the back of his hand (probably better honestly), and represents everything you'd want as a conservationist. He could even identify the species of bug from 40 yards away based on its flight pattern. I won't hesitate for a second when it comes to booking our next trip up there.

Koz is King! My son and I had an amazing experience on the upper Manistee. Absolutely gorgeous and there isn’t a guide that knows more about the river than he. We are Midwest bait-casting bass fishermen and total rookies on the fly rods but Koz was patient, knowledgeable and technical in teaching us to both dry and wet. Hooked into some beautiful trout and had an amazing bucket-list sort of experience. Five out of Five Stars! Highly Recommend!
