While all the staff at this location are great, I want to call out Eli (worked pay window 9:30 AM 7/8/25). He nailed the 3 Ps of customer service (Professional, Polite, Personable).Great job Eli!

Numerous mess ups on the most simple orders. This is the second time in a row I’ve doordashed food from this location and my 2 cheeseburger meal has either missed a burger entirely or this time left out the fries entirely including the sauces.
Last time I called and got a manager named Mike, he offered I could come get both burgers replaced (defeats the purpose of doordash but I went anyways) waited several minutes being the only person in the lobby while the entire shift consisting of high schoolers messed around in the back and said manager was bagging meals. Mike finally saw me and got the order in for my food which took over 5 minutes to get. No apology, meanwhile the kids continued swearing at levels I’d consider unprofessional and Mike the manager seemed to be the only one even attempting to work but definitely not managing his shift by any means, those kids run that shift for sure. This location is a joke.

Literally the worse mcdonalds ever. Constantly makes you pull up and wait extended periods for your food because they are way more concerned with their drive through times and have no concern for the customer. Even if you can't pull up do to vehicle size they still try to rudely force you to pull up and block up other traffic. 0/10 this place sucks ! Customer service is the absolute worse there very rude and don't care at all!

I thought this was fast food. When you have to wait 10-20 mins each time, this is no longer fast food service. And most of the time, the order is wrong. Replace or retrain the entire staff so that way you can exceed customer expectations. I could understand this happening every so often, but I’ve heard the same thing from about 20 others. Get it together McDonalds

Consistently leaves out food you ordered & when you drive all the way back up there to get the food they didn’t add to your bag, they don’t even apologize. I’ve had several encounters where they make us wait without any customer service for several minutes before they even ask if they can help as well. Service is terrible and this location consistently misses

Who is allowing these young adults to speak to customers like they do. They sometimes refuse to take orders at the counter. While waiting for my cup for a simple ice tea, some senior citizens came in and they were met with instant attitude about ordering from the counter, as was I. I helped the senior citizens place their order, while still waiting for....just a cup. There were employees in the back just standing around...After waiting quite some time, I had to ask for a cup . This behavior is so rude, if you don't want to deal with other humans, don't work in the service industry.

I’m utterly frustrated and appalled by my local McDonald’s. I was using my rewards to get a free mcchicken and on the app it says all locations participating in the points will allow you to make it a hot and spicy. First they kept refusing that they could. At the window I showed a manager on my phone and he was very nice and said they would make uphold their end of rewards deal. This is the hot and spicy they gave me. The wrapper was completely crinkled, the sticker, wrong might I add, was on the inside of the wrapper and everything was covered in mayo. When I called and spoke to the same manager and told him I whole heartedly felt like his crew messed with my food because of the audacity of their presentation. I was not mean, belligerent or rude- this man tells me that’s just how they wrap them sometimes, that people put the sticker on the inside of the wrapper and mayo on the bun. Like excuse me? This is how you guys treat your customers. Disrespectful. It was done deliberately.

We always have issues with this location and they are very unkind… today I had a super raw burger and almost every burger in the order was raw as well. Of course realized it halfway through…. Not good

I don’t usually have a bad experience here, I love the older lady that works here but tonight the younger girl at the second window was pretty dismissive and short, I ordered a hot fudge sundae and got a little more than half a cups worth when it’s usually filled more. Felt like they rushed and half assed a simple order.

The fees for delivery are ridiculous, but what’s worse is that you pay so much for it and the order isn’t even correct. Incredibly disappointing. Thank you, Ortonville McDonald’s, for the hour wait and incorrect food. If you read through the rest of the one star reviews, you’ll see that this restaurant routinely messes up orders. Total waste of money

They are slow and never answer their phone since covid. They also don't even know that they serve a double cheese burger because when I asked for one they said they dont make those! Really!!! I wouldn't take my grandmother there, and she's been gone for yrs. They really need to fix this establishment. Its been bad for yrs, really a hit n miss, mostly missing!
