I AM BEYOND ANGRY! I literally just had a delivery and take out the garden salad I ordered and the green peppers and onions are slimy and taste sour. I called immediately and the guy who answered the phone had a nasty attitude when I told him how the salad was. He told me there isn't anything he can do about it nor will he because that's how the salad is made and he knows for a fact those are fresh. I told him so now I don't get to eat tonight and he responded I guess you aren't because once again he said that's how its made. I asked who made it and HE HUNG UP ON ME. To be hung up on for no reason makes me feel like I should have gotten rude back to him considering that was how I was treated the whole phone call.....I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN AND WILL BE TAKING THIS HIGHER AND ABOVE THE LITTLE FELLA BEHIND THE PHONE!
The so called fresh vegetables he said it was made with DON'T look like the picture. I eat enough vegetables to know what slimy and sour tasting means....NOT FRESH!

Had one of the worst customer experiences of my life here tonight. The General Manager Lou, needs some serious customer service training.

I ordered 2 pizzas on the HH app at 6:17pm. I kept an eye on the tracker in the app and for over an hour it said it was on the road. At 7:35 it suddenly changed to delivered, but no pizza.

I call the Store and spoke with the GM Lou. I told him my pizza shows delivered but I didn’t receive it. He immediately begins to BLAME ME for the mishap. He claimed that the driver had been waiting outside for 10-15 minutes and they had called me 10+ times and I wouldn’t answer. I asked why they wouldn’t knock at my door and he said that they couldn’t find my house. Mind you I have ordered from this Store to my house dozens of times with 0 issue.

I did receive 2 calls at 7:19 but it was from a 319 area code listed in Indiana so I didn’t answer. I never got a voicemail or a text. They claimed to have called me from the Store phone but I did not receive any calls aside from the 319 number. He claimed they called me 10 times from the store phone but I only received 2 calls from Indiana which I sent to voicemail. Had I got a call from a 989 or any Michigan area code I would have immediately answered.

I tried to reason with Lou stating that it doesn’t make sense to receive a call from a different state and not get a voicemail or text if it’s not spam. I asked him if he answers randoms numbers like this and he snarkily said “well if I was waiting for a food order then yeah.” I got pretty upset with Lou and told him to refund me and I would be reaching out to his boss. I asked for the franchise owners number/contact information and he said he is not allowed to give it to me. I did file a complaint on their website.

I didn’t want to have to file complaints and leave a bad review but the GM Lou did such a horrible job handling this that I feel I have no other choice. Blaming the customer for not being able to find their house and not contacting them properly is completely unacceptable. I have always been a huge Hungry Howies fan and customer but at this point I think I will be ordering from any other pizza joint available. Extremely disappointed in Hungry Howies and their manager Lou.

11/6/25 7:30pm I ordered a pizza for delivery and the young lady told me it would be 30 minutes. After waiting close to 10 minutes for her to figure out how to run my card she completed the transaction then confirmed over the phone that it would be delivered.

An hour went by and we did not receive our pizza. I called and was told it was waiting to be picked up. This was a mistake on their end, and when I expressed that, I was hung up on. My credit card was still charged. Please get better.

If your ordering your food and they decide your a prankster.
I went in there and said hey I’m here to pick up my steak calzone sub. I ordered 15 minutes ago!
Right away it’s like some mystery that nobody can solve once I show them that I called the restaurant. They’re like oh yeah you we thought you were kidding

Next thing you know, the woman behind the counter I believe her name was Tee Was accommodating and did offer to make me a fresh Calzone. That being said, I don’t call my food in ahead of time to wait around and I just didn’t get why my regular order was taken as a joke.

Long story short, nobody was accountable T said that I hated women and I’m not gonna lie. I said what’s next. Are you gonna throw the race card at me like I hate Black people too. True story I don’t hate hate anyone. It does bother me though when I’m treated like I’m the problem when I wasn’t the one who treated my to go order like it was a prank call and then when I get there, they wanna act like it never even happened

I put in an order in on phone I usually go to pick it up I decided to get it delivered I was fo awhile so I called back to see how much longer on my order and the person said there was no order with that name they lost my order my husband called back the driver got the wrong address and took it back I am still waiting. Never again

Today my family sadly had a sour experience. The crew did admit the problem and fixed it quickly. But sadly our food didnt meet the same experience as our firsr visit. Havent given up on them. Will try again on a later day.

Worker at the counter seemed like it was a bother to take my order. Food took a long time, even though I was the only customer in the store and ordered a simple two topping pizza. Took thirty minutes and I’m fairly certain I could hear them talking in the kitchen about forgetting to make my pizza. Food was alright, but the past few times has been sloppy or there has been errors with my order. Not how it used to be and be wary if you want to have your food done on time, only go if you have time to waste waiting.

Barely any bacon on the pizza, and there was such a thin layer of cheese. I've live here 3 years and decided to try this place for the first time. I was sooo disappointed 😞. I'm a pizza lover so I'll eat almost any pizza but this was so unfullfilling after a couple slices I never return back to the box and ended up making me something different to eat. I woke up thinking about what pizza place can I get some good pizza from cause they didn't do my pizza right at all. Never again for me!😌

Food is good, however doordashing from it is touchy. They lost me a $15 run by misreading it and delivering it themselves.
I wouldn't be so upset but I lost gas with nothing to show for it.
