I love this place it’s a small Kroger but get what I need there. Except maybe train your baggers a bit better my chicken and toilet bowl cleaner shouldn’t be in the same bag because now my chicken is covered in cleaner and I can’t use it unfortunately and they don’t really do returns like that soooo yeah that’s about it otherwise everyone is super nice but baggers come on it’s common sense

10 brands of orange juice but not one variety of refrigerated grapefruit juice. No Romano cheese. I only had 7 items on my list, and only 5 of them were available. This happens every time I go to the Kroger in Bridgeport. It is a poor excuse for a grocery store. UPDATE 5 YEARS LATER: One of their reviewers recently praised the Bridgeport store for having Jamaican Ginger Beer and Okra Pickles! Seriously? Until recently they didn't even have fresh gingerroot! This store is still horribly stocked. I regularly walk in with a list and walk out with a fraction of what I needed. Last night I wanted Peet's decaf coffee and Rao's Pizza Sauce - two items that were promoted in their corporate digital coupons - and I was advised that the Bridgeport store doesn't even carry these items! But they have Jamaican Ginger Beer and Okra Pickles! Good heavens, who is doing their buying. I guess I'm supposed to shop local in Bridgeport then leave and finish my shopping elsewhere?! Who has that kind of time? I am at the point that I won't be bothering with the Bridgeport store. I'd be better off shopping at 7/11.

This is a shout out to Megan, my mom fell in the parking lot today. Megan was SO sweet from calling me and letting me know what was going on. Mom said Megan held her hand and was so sweet. 5 stars to you, Megan.
I usually love the Kroger stores. I just will never understand why they put people in the deli that hate working in the deli. I have been to this location 3 times now. Every time they ask " How do you want you meat sliced"? Then they proceed to cut it however "they want". I honestly don't know why they even ask. The people stocking shelves were very friendly and helpful. The deli and cash register lady were not nice at all.

This is a great Kroger. The staff are always ready to help out. The shelves are readily stocked with items that are hard to find. We love the Jamaican Ginger Beer and the Okra pickles. Checkout is always fast because they always have enough staff to jump to help out. We have been going here for years. It is nice to have the tables to hang out after shopping as well to have a drink or a snack. They always try their best to take care of customers in a personal way that builds community relationships and returning customers. They will find a way to resolve a problem when places like RiteAid on Hess and East Genesee will not go the extra mile. RiteAid will make fun of you or laugh at how they cannot help you and then not help you. Kroger's solves problems and leaves the laughs to comedians on stage.

I RAN HOME TO GIVE MY REVIEW!!!! At 6:12pm today June 2, 2023, I got a 10 ct of Choc Choc Chip Soft Cookies and 8 piece Fried Chicken from the Kroger’s Deli in Bridgeport, Mi for Dinner both for the first time. TRIPLE SHOUTOUT FOR THE STAFF THAT IS WORKING RIGHT NOW!!! The Chicken WAS COOKED ABSOLUTELY PERFECT (I had eaten 2 Pieces BEFORE I left Kroger’s Parking Lot ???♀️?)!! VERY CRISPY, SEASONED AND WAS NOT GREASY AT ALL AND WITH CRISPIEST CRUNCHIES (I know that’s not a Word lol) AND THE BEST DOUBLE CHOCOLATE SOFT COOKIES I HAD IN A LONG TIME!!!! I WANT THAT STAFF WHO’S WORKING TODAY TO RECEIVE MY BEST AND RECOGNITION FROM ME FOR THEIR AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE TOO AND I WILL BE BACK!!!’ THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH KROGER’S STORE ON DIXIE HWY !!!

Two year old food on clearance. Store is extremely outdated and smells funky. The floor and ceilings were covered with stains and marks. My cart was still sticky after wiping it down. Everything felt so dirty.I've never seen such a sad looking store.
