Catchy title, huh? In the whodathunk department, seeing a Bill Walton signed Celtics jersey on the entrance wall in this small restaurant in the southwest corner of Michigan just didn't compute, especially since both the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers have their home courts a couple of hours from the restaurant. After you walk in, however, there's at least another dozen signed Boston jerseys hanging everywhere. I guess Eric must be a fan.....Whatever Eric is, he sure can cook! Best breakfast yet on our six month motorhome odyssey from coast to coast and back again. I had country-fried steak and eggs with crispy hashbrowns and sourdough toast. Eric's probably has the best hashbrowns I've gobbled down on this trip. Finally, a chef who actually makes his hashbrowns crisp--and--full of flavor. Outstanding! Mrs. Traveler had the "House Omelet" with ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese--and--the hashbrowns were inside the omelet. She gave two big thumbs up for her meal. We ate breakfast there mid-week and late morning. It was packed with locals. Great food, great service, and inexpensive. If it wasn't more than 2,000 miles from home, we would be regular customers at Eric's.....

The food is just bad. I got breakfast and the eggs are rubbery over cooked mess the potatoes have absolutely no seasoning and the sausage is mediocre.

If you're in SW Michigan for the wine trails or anything, this place is fantastic for breakfast! The food is great, the service is wonderful and still the prices can't be beat. I'd even pay 50% more for their food and be just as happy!

Great service, the waitresses will get to know the regular's names and memorize drinks and orders. It's obvious they care about the customers and are thankful for the business that they receive. There's also a great selection of food that is very good and well priced. Definitely a great option for breakfast and lunch.
