Stopped in by myself for the first time last night and grabbed dinner at the bar. I started with a fresh, cold, Two Hearted Ale with an order of teriyaki wings. Great start; fresh draft with the proper amount of head and hot, tasty wings. I then indulged in the Prime Rib special which at $20 with baked potato, green beans, and horseradish sauce was an excellent bargain. Not to mention that the entree came out medium rare as I had ordered. Double bonus! Service was outstanding and the vibe was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend

We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was spot-on. The veggie burger was hearty and flavorful, the chicken fingers were crisp and juicy, and the fish & chips deserve special praise. They use a light, delicate batter that achieves golden perfection without becoming heavy or air-pocketed, allowing the tender fish to shine through. Add in genuinely friendly service, and you have a flawless experience.

The veggie burger was hearty and flavorful, the chicken fingers crisp and juicy, and the fish & chips were terrific. Light, delicate batter that actually complements the fish instead of burying it — none of that heavy English-style stuff with thick air pockets. Just clean, golden perfection and tender fish inside.
