Food was great but waitstaff was not very friendly. No music playing so the restaurant provided no conversational privacy.

I had the country fried steak and eggs. The steak still had a lot of oil dripping from it, but it was crispy and flavorful. The american potatoes were slightly undercooked, under-seasoned, and I would not order those again if I ever return. They would benefit from washing down the walls and vents. The place wasn't busy (I don't know if they do mobile orders, or were busy behind the scenes), but the waitstaff could use a little pep in their step, and check in on their customers a little more. Overall, I wasn't impressed. I wouldn't be opposed to eating there again, but not my first choice.

We stopped while passing through the area, and were so glad we found Lydia’s. The food and atmosphere were great, and the service was pretty quick.

Cute little stop on our way home after vacation. Local art for sale hanging all around and food was delicious. Would definitely stop here again!
We also thought the not so hungry menu was cute, never seen that before.

Absolutely horrible the food was either over cooked or under cooked it sat for at least 15 min in the kitchen before bringing to the table because everything was cold, the hash browns were burnt, the French toast was only dipped on one side with egg it looked as if the cooked a whole egg on one side of the French toast, the scrambled eggs were also over cooked and disgusting, the over easy eggs were barely cooked at all, the pancakes were dont on 1 side, they remade the scrambled eggs but they came out under cooked and more like a omelette not scrambled. When we said something they didn’t seem like they even cared. The owner took 25% off the bill but to be honest we should have had more that. We left more than half the food on the table because it was awful and we didn’t have time for them to remake it a third time. I definitely would not recommend eating here McDonald’s would probably do a better job. Absolutely disappointed with the food and the customer service please fire your cook before they ruin your business.

Response to owner response…. Umm did you see the attached photos? This is not how food should ever be served and when brought to the attention of the waitress she acted as if she didn’t care that the food wasn’t served properly, unfortunately we couldn’t wait for our food to be made a third time it was unacceptable to eat then only offer 25% when you didn’t prepare the food correctly not once but twice in a row is an insult, I paid the bill regardless but it was a complete waste of money we didn’t eat half of what was ordered. To say that you couldn’t make us happy is sad considering we only wanted good food that was cooked properly and edible. Your cook didn’t have the grill on the right temp or the food would have cooked the proper way also it wasn’t even busy or I could understand the mess up not to mention our waitress didn’t ask us if we wanted re fills we had to flag her down and other people who came in 15 min after us were served their food before us and we ordered the basic food 2x2x2x2 for 3 of us and the other order scrambled eggs hash browns and bacon. Sorry but to not take accountability for your cook and your businesses is shocking considering you need customers to survive. Thank you for your reply we won’t ever come back due to the severe lack in quality and integrity or honesty. The pictures speak for themselves…

Great place to gather with girlfriends, 11 of us.
Our waitress was amazing served us with a smile, we all did individually tickets.
Wow she did wonderful not to get any of us confused.
The food was great, not to mention the fries, best I have ever had.

Food is normally really good and larger then normal portions.
This quaint place in Bridgman is a early morning, mid day great place to eat serving everything from Breakfast to dinner and everything in between with apps

Passerby here. Not from the area, but was hungry with the wife. Googled nearby restaurants and chose this place because the reviews seemed somewhat alright. Got there, first of all, outdated and dirty. From the ceilings to the floors. It smelled of old grease and mildew. Every seat had a tear in it and youre lucky if it had duct tape on it. Tables were sticky and had food on them. Anyways, we sat down. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Can't remember the name. The prices are outrageous. I got a burger and when I tell you this burger was CHARRED, it was black. My fries were cold and stale. Went to the bathroom, dirty. Just over all not a good experience. Will not be returning. Waitress needs a raise.
